They have so much cap space for this coming season that it's going to be keeping them busy on a non stop spending spree. This was just a way to use some of the space. If they trade him for a 3rd or 4th IMO it's a wise move.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
A reporter asked the mayor (IIRC) about another NFL team and he essentially said he would never trust the NFL again. This was after pretty much everything had been laid out and they discovered that both the NFL and the Rams had been working towards LA hand in hand while the league was urging STL to press forward on a new stadium and thee were spending millions to do so. He was not a happy campby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree the owners don't care about much other than the money but getting the players and refs unions to give up the extra money to the UK for taxes will be a tough sell. Travel aside not a lot of players are going to be willing to sacrifice huge portions of their paycheck to play in London. I don't know what you will make of these articles but take a look: NFL games losing money in Londonby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

Musical chairs..........but Khan seems to like JAX.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
All of the people who travel will have to pay taxes. If you play for a London team you pay taxes on at least 8 games to the UK, and that is a lot more than the US. A few one-offs are easier than having a team resident. The taxes make a big difference. In order to make it work the NFL will have to change "the rules" for the team that calls London home and even alter some things foby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

How are you going to get players to give up so much of their salary in UK taxes? Plus what owner would want to do that too.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

And while I think Snyder is a dummazz I cannot see him letting Cousins walk away or trading him away after signing him. Losing Cousins and Garcon in one offseason is WAY to much to replace, it would set them back a couple of years and they they have to hope they land a QB. And lets face it..........getting a top flight QB is as much luck as anything else so taking that chance when you have one alby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
It's sometimes difficult to understand tone and meaning and your post seemed to dismiss what he did So all good.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
So it's OK to do what he did because the baby-mama will retract her statement and drop the case so she can get money? I'm not exactly sure what you mean here.......... QuoteRockRam The Rams likely will let it play out for awhile. Accusations are accusations; not guilt. In fact, charges like these are often dropped by the girlfriend, and/or testimony recanted, when she understands that tby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

Certainly since Georgia got the team it's been used as an ATM for ownership and management. It's like the NFL version of the Springsteen song Glory Days.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
They are trying to feed it out slowly to make the most of the dollars IMO. Remember teams keep ALL of the money from gear sold in their pro shops so this is just an attempt to milk it a bit. Everyone will rush out and buy new stuff bit by bit. The Rams are pretty bad at this, I don't know who is ultimately in charge of this type of thing but they are screwy as far as I'm concerned.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd be more interested in that. And the minor uni tweaks are simply a low level marketing ploy to stir the fan base that faded last year as the losses piled up. It takes two years after applications to change a jersey so the Rams have their plans for the gear into the NFL office already. This is window dressing for fans.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

If a guy was a rookie one year and had his first card his next year he wasn't a rookie. I can see giving it an inaugural designation but thee is a difference between a rookie and second year player. I understand how they define it now. But I think it's bullsheet.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
