Great year to have 4 picks in top 100. Might be 5 if Snead can find a trade down partner.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam I think it would be totally un-Snead-like for him to trade up for rounds 1 or 2. Whatever trades would be to trade down in order to acquire more top 100 picks. And, I think that any possible trades will largely depend on what Snead/McVay seeing happening in the picks before they choose. If they have a couple of players circled that look like other other will fall to them, they'llby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams are assured of having multiple quality picks there in this draft. Heck, even a modest trade down is fine by me. If I’ve learned anything from last years draft it is that Snead/McVay know what they’re doing in such matters. So I intend to let the professionals do their thing while I simply relax and enjoy the show.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
NFL Draft 2024: Best options for Los Angeles Rams with No. 19 pick Ryan Heckman If all goes according to plan, these prospects would be best-case scenario for L.A. The Los Angeles Rams enter the 2024 NFL Draft holding the no. 19 overall pick in the first round, which is a bit later than some might have projected them to pick a year ago. NFL draft rumors: McVay’s commitment to Rams has team thinking QB Will Rams draft Michael Penix or Bo Nix because of long-term commitment by Sean McVay? He would still be guaranteed of a premium player at a ‘need’ position and also pick up another Day 2 opportunity. I’m guessing that Sneed will do such a trade down if he can find a partner.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
What a pick. What a player he has been. A huge Ram asset on multiple levels.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Great post, Rock. As I said in another thread, Snead might go in any of several directions. My best guess? Snead will let the draft come to him. So, it might just depend on who falls to 19 that will dictate his strategy. I’m guessing that Snead has dozens of contingency plans laid at this point.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I’m conflicted here once again. Nice to have a known and young vet WR in exchange for a premium draft pick. Then again, this IS a fabulous WR crop this year.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotekw13 I felt like we got an Anquan Boldin type receiver and he says he was playing close to 220 last year and says he is now about 210. That video of him playing with the med ball with Cooper looks like he's not much over 200. Probably ‘bad’ weight, at that. With Kupp as his personal trainer’, I’m not worried at all.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
In no particular order… The importance of having a decent backup QB. The importance of maintaining a strong running game rather than abandoning it in some games. The advantage of a stud OL rather than skill player toys. Cap dollars well invested. He’s been paying dividends on multiple levels since his rookie year.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Two different questions. I voted that they will trade up for an elite player. But I think they should stay at 19 to see who falls into their lap, then if they’re not thrilled with their choices they should trade down a bit. There will be quality starting players through the 3rd round if they do the latter. Why not pick up an extra one via tradedown?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Bill Barnwell floats idea of Rams trading two 1st-rounders for CB Pat Surtain II Cameron DaSilva there’s a team that could swing a big trade for a proven veteran before or during the NFL draft this year, it’s the Los Angeles Rams. Rams legendary QB names best fit QB in draft, and it's not who you think By Bret Stuter If you want to get a bullseye perspective for the LA Rams in terms of the best talent and fit of the quarterback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft for this offense, why settle for NFL Insiders, draft analysts, pundits, and talking heads? Could Matthew Stafford be the next Rams veteran to retire on top? Bret Stuter The best that the LA Rams can hope for is many more years out of veteran QB Matthew Stafford. But due diligence requires the team to have a succession in place, now . . . Hope for the best, plan for the worst. If you are a fan of the LA Rams, you know exactly what that means.
