I've been reading the news reports, even the PFT take, but I'm not sure what this means for any of the parties involved. I know that the guaranteed Watson contract with Cleveland started an attempt by other QB's for the same. The NFL management council (ie Goodell) recommended to the clubs not to give fully guaranteed contracts. That's the fan in me. I know they lost to a very good Eagle team. Would things have been different if the Rams had beaten the Seahawks that last game, gotten a better seeding, met the Eagles in Philly one week later when the weather was much better? Who knows?
