That's the fan in me.
I know they lost to a very good Eagle team. Would things have been different if the Rams had beaten the Seahawks that last game, gotten a better seeding, met the Eagles in Philly one week later when the weather was much better? Who knows?
But what I did see was a Rams team that was RIGHT THERE. They played the Eagles better than any other team in the playoffs. And the Rams have made some crucial changes to the defense in an attempt to correct that weakness against the running game.
The Rams are RIGHT THERE.
Will that translate into a great season and playoff run this year? Who knows? That's why they play the games.
But my hopes are high and I hope that pans out this year.
