I understand the continuity thing, but we've had 5 years of continuous mediocrity (at best) and 7-9 b$%^@##t. That's more than enough time to know this HC isn't the right man for the job.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
The losing has gone on so long I expect it and I'm used to it so I don't get depressed about it. But, I still get embarrassed by games like yesterday...and last week...and week 1...and...you get the idea.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
If he is extended it proves beyond doubt that SK does not care about winning and/or the fans that come out and spend hundreds of dollars to go to a game, not to mention merchandise and everything else. Like I've said before, the L.A. market is very fickle and SK better understand that if Fisher is extended, meaning no chance at the playoffs, let alone a winning record, the fans will stop showiby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci Pretty much everyone disagrees with me there ... Unfortunately Im not going to change my tune on it ... If Hue Jackson turns the Browns around I may reconsider. Right now I want Norv Turner for OC ... with FULL control of the offense. Amen brother! (although I still want the Fish gone!)by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Or how about that play where there's 27 seconds left in the game, we're 58 yards away from the end zone...and they throw a 6 yard pass to the middle of the field??? Are you effing kidding me??? You can't make this up. They should've said, you know what? We give up. Ridiculous.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci My issue with changing coaches is that any coach we get will face the same issue. I'd prefer continuity over that, especially with a young QB. We are dealing with two things, Fisher learning how to overcome his idea of how he expects games to play out, and the entire team has to overcome the disadvantage that their own psychology presents to them. Any new coachby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM he was called on to do very little BUT... for the Ram's, I don't think he was 'restricted' much at all. AND... I don't think Goff showed much hesitation to attempt threading the needle. I AM confused by the deeper throws, which I couldn't see well on TV... as I said to RFL in the Game Time Forum. I'm not sure what was going on there... but I suspect our WR's weren't getting opby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I was at the game...sitting in the rain...hoping for a miracle, but no. When we had the lead 10-0 in the 4th on the drive they kicked and missed the FG on I told my buddy, you watch, this team will play so conservative, i.e. not to lose that they'll end up losing. And as sure as Fisher defines mediocrity, they did just that. This guy just has to GO. Sure, let him finish the season as it aby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll try to get over there! Going with a friend (not a Herd member, but a Rams fan) so not sure when we'll get there. Go Rams! Cheers.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotebigjimram21 Actually it screams three straight games where this QB produced 10,10, and 9 points. Sure it isn't just Keenum but you had to know that position was the one in line to be replaced. And Mannion starting over the guy who has been no. Two on the depth chart for the last eight games? Fisher painted himself into this corner by saying Goff would start when ready. Then he had to chooseby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
It'll be great to be at his 1st start. Go Goff!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
What I've seen in games is that he just doesn't have any vision. It looks like he runs with his head down. To wit, in the Jets game on one run where he had a nice gain there was a slo-mo replay where the perspective was Todd was running at the camera. It looked like he was looking down the whole time. I agree that the OL has NOT been good but good backs can still make some yards, i.e. lemonadby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePaulButcher59 Nice story! I could see the Rams waiting to start Goff at home. If the Rams lose in NJ and Keenum doesn't play well, that Miami game just may be it. 3-6, 5 game losing streak. Makes sense. Definitely a nice story. I'll be going to that Miami game so hopefully he will be starting.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky If things fall right it is conceivable the Rams could win 4 to 5 more games with all things break right for them. Is it probable? No. But its not totally out of the question either. Grits Which means more 7-9, 8-8 bull$!!* best case scenario.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams get a personal foul every time they get within 2 feet of Cam "it's not fun anymore" Newton after his whining last week. That coupled with the OL's inability to open up any kind of running lanes or pass protect doom the Rams once again. Fisher vows to keep starting Keenum.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteHazlet Hacksaw Get our hopes up as they hit .500 then get their doors blown off when I'm at the jets game. Nah, we all know we can't win much outside of our division. 3-5 here we come. Ugh.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotepoplarbluffman I imagine Fisher really wants to have a winning season and Keenum gives him his best chance at winning..and keeping his job Do we realize how sad that sounds? In our 3 wins, the offense had the chance to run out the clock. They could not which put the onus on the defense and the defense held on. In our last 3 losses, the offense had the ball with a chance to go down tby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePHDram but there is no doubt that the offense is under performing and ultimately it comes down to the head coach. Yup. Going on 5 years now with the same results. The one common denominator is the head coach and his staff. The "Friends of Fisher" show must move on to somewhere else.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteTonyHunter87 I think the beat only the Jets. Agree Tony. Carolina, while they have struggled, were in the Super Bowl last year. They will beat us as their D will stop our O cold. The Saints will march up and down the field on us. The Patriots? We'll probably suffer our second shut out of the season. I think that's why DeadPool put "better" in quotes. At this point there is no difference between 5-11 and 7-9.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
We'd have to go 5-4 in our remaining games just to finish at 8-8. Sorry friends, but that just isn't gonna happen. Our remaining schedule: Carolina @ Jets Miami (planning to go to this game) @ New Orleans @ New England Atlanta @ Seattle San Francisco Arizona Does anybody truly see 5 or more wins in there? I don't. I see maybe 2 or 3 meaning if I'm right, we're finishing 5-11 oby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Great pics. And that is why Gurley didn't go to the left where the play was designed to go. The defender blocked his path as you can see in the final pic. Originally I thought this was on Gurley but that pic sequence changes my mind. That was on GRob.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteRamsFanSinceLA Agreed. I guess when we yet again finish at 7-9 this year we have to remember to "keep it in context" and not get caught up in the actual record. Well that's not much of a counter-argument. I said why you misinterpreted the history, and, you don't do anything but repeat the misinterpretation. Admire your stance man, but honestly in my humble opinion, I think you're taking this whole thing a little wrong, or even personally. I think that what people are saying, and it is my view as well, is that Fisher is what he is. He is a mediocre coach, proven by over 20 years of mediocre results. That is an undeniable fact. Yes, there are no guarantees that a new coach would be any better anby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I know we haven't had a really good, let alone great, QB since Warner. But in all that time to the best of my recollection, we haven't had much talent across the board. Now, when I watch the Rams, I see talent. Britt is playing better than I've ever seen him. Quick looks like a legitimate NFL WR now. He is attacking the ball, using his body to position, and getting YAC. Tavon, if he getsby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Best post I've read in a while, and I completely agree. Just because you're not happy with the job Fisher is doing doesn't make you a negative person that is going to die young.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSaguaro but good chowder in a bread bowl is absolutely delicious. I could do without the marching. Seriously, I agree with you. There's plenty of data now in year 5. And the data is fairly consistent. Yes it is - offensive rankings under Fisher: 2012 - 23rd 2013 - 30th 2014 - 28th 2015 - 32nd 2016 - 32nd Different players, same results. Common denominator? QuoteLMU93 I still think they should run some formations with Gurley and Cunningham together split behind the QB. Run counters or misdirections, send both out into the flats. Motion one of them out into the slot. Give defenses something else to think about. That would require some imagination, of which the Fisher offense has none.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
