Quotemax It’s interesting that we don’t hear too much from the media on how the Saints have built a SB caliber team with a high priced QB. Sure it’s easier when you have a good QB on a rookie contract, but that’s not an excuse for teams to fall off when they pay that big 2nd contract. I think Luck belongs in the conversation of best QBs under 30. Sure there is worry about the injuries, buby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_81 Ranking them how? Based on results or how could they would be if all things equal Goff has a huge advantage because of the coaching and system so he has to be high based on running a successful offense. Take away McVay and put Fisher in and he drops to the bottom of that list. My list is based on results: 1) Mahomes (wow. Dan Marino with agility and elusiveness.) 2)by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree with everybody on Joyner. The guy has been invisible this season after been pretty good last season. It's like his number never gets called and he's nowhere to be found when you're watching the game. It's weird.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotespagsbacker who cares anymore? they are both good players, lets move on. go rams. Question for ya spags. If you're "tired" of watching a particular show on TV, do you still watch it, or do you change the channel? The solution is simple: just skip over the post! I promise it won't hurt my feelings.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
This is a good read. I'm so glad we have this kid. He's gonna take us far. Enjoy. Articleby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Sammy sat out yesterday due to his foot but I heard that if it was a playoff game he'd be playing. So they want him healthy for the Rams game which makes sense. Cooks had another 100 yard game as he was targeted 12 times, catching 10. This doesn't account for his sweet jet sweep run for a TD either.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm painfully aware of all of those numbers and yes it could be the cause of an early exit in the playoffs. With all of that 'talent' one would think we'd be better on that side of the ball. It's perplexing. If/when we run into a team that can put points on the board (Saints anyone?), we're gonna be hard pressed to win. As it stands right now I don't think we get past the Saints in the playby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 QuoteRam_Ruler He's undersized. I think he'll bring some speed on the edge but does he play the run well? Something to keep an eye on Obo is 6’ 2” and 253 pounds. He played edge at OU and played very well, at that. He was specifically drafted for edge by the Rams. I say give him a few snaps. WTH do we have to lose? Longacre is killing us. Yep, agreed. QuoteSUretHing But agree not his best day 28 of 39 = 72%, 318 yards, 2 TDs, no turnovers, 113.0 QB rating. I'd say that's a pretty good day. Man, tough crowd.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks gamo, for some reason it resonates with me too.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO on that pick you just gotta give the defensive guy his due. He made a great play reaching back for the ball. At most one would think he'd just bat the ball away, considering his position relative to the ball. But you're right; it didn't help.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax QuoteSpeed_Kills while I do think the Saints schedule is harder... its not so by a ton the Saints will likely stumble sure and I could see that happening as soon as this week in Cincy... however Rams need to beat a pesky Seahawks team, the Chiefs, Bears on the road, and as you mentioned the Eagles who could be getting it together (lets see them SNF) the Rams need to handle their buby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a feeling the Rams are gonna be ultra focused for this one. The only reason I predict 20 for the Hags is because of Wilson. Rams win! :seahawksblowupby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram I would have guessed that if I had to. Questions for everyone who watched the game: Who thought at the time that Goff should have thrown to Woods? (I know I did!) Did anyone think "hey, they came back from 21 down to tie it so it doesn't matter who Goff threw to"? I did. On third down you should always throw to or past the sticks, otherwise what's the point? That is one of the strikes against him as he tends to have frequent foot issues. I know who I'd rather have as well (hint - we do have him, lol).by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is a big question most of us might have in our mind so I wanted to see what the board thought about it. Me, based on his history in KC, will vote yes even though it's not with a ton of confidence. I just hope he does, for the Rams sake.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
After 9 games Watkins is only 6 targets and 2 catches behind Cooks but is well behind in yards suggesting KC is using him more as an underneath type target. It's pretty obvious that Cooks is a deep ball threat. TDs are even.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit How about some Tavon Austin posts just for old times' sake? Let's also sprinkle in some Bradford posts while we're at it!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Frankly I was surprised it took so long for him to get torched on a long ball. It seems to happen every week. Michael Thomas owned him today. He is no shut down corner, that's for sure.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Is if the Saints come out with 6DBs as their base defense McVay better have a plan for it. It was pretty effective against us when GB ran it and it boggles my mind that we couldn't run all day against it. I think it's going to be a battle and come down to who has the ball last. I just hope it's us.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 QuoteLMU93 Giants, Bears, Packers, Ravens and Titans. Sigh... Man, I am dying to know the Ram reasoning behind this JB release. But we probably will never know the real reason(s). Reading the McVay transcript, he mentions the cap as a reason so evidently that is why. I do feel a bit uneasy not having him as the first man off the bench.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but... In a 4-3 the guys on the edge are considered DEs and mostly rush the passer but also can drop into coverage if that is the defensive call. In a 3-4 the 2 guys on the edge are considered OLBs and can rush or cover. With the 3-4 the offense doesn't know ahead of time which OLB will be rushing, or if neither or both will. So an edge rusher couldby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Cooks, in my opinion, did not have a good game this week, other than that great catch he had on the sideline where the throw was low. He had two other balls hit his hands that he didn't come down with. That's not to mention how his jersey was getting stretched out practically every play by Alexander. Watkins on the other hand had a great game, scoring twice. The Rams were on a bye week 8by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

What's been proven is that our defense isn't "all that." We can, and have been, scored on. We're still vulnerable to a good running game and we have consistently gotten burned on long passes. So none of that I saw yesterday was new, or humbling. GB's defense was better than I have seen them all year. Going in, I thought there was no way they could stop us. The Rams should have their way with GB's defense, but the Green Bay Rodgers will be a handful for our defensive back end. This will result in another nail biter that I don't know if my ticker can take again. Rams win, but Rodgers keeps it tight.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
