Egregious drop That would / should have been a game winner. Chiefs only needed 20 yards. Pretty sure their QB could have managed to eat clock and get them set up for a FG. Goff was fine. The RBs seem to have missed on their reads.by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
I think John Johnson is out there to start Perhaps they save him, and rotate him in. Just thinking that Boom isn't a participant till Week 2by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
agreed She quotes Morris. "I'm not a woe is me guy." I think it foreshadows, at least acknowledges, that his group has some blemishes. My take is that "some" is okay. "Lots" would be dissatisfying. Just my take, but special teams may rank at the bottom of the league. I'll be stunned if they're not. On the upside, I think Higbee is in beast mode right now.by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
Part of me is hoping that they've got better prospects on the roster or plan to add such. And this is also where preseason football games on TV gives me nothing to work with as to where to sort player on a depth chart. But Jolly never had me sold. Unless he was a high level special teamer I just can't imagine his value.by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com

Deep respect for this guy He already had played 60 snaps by the time the press box tallied. Listened to the entire broadcast. Swiping one in TCU's crib no small featby leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
This is how it feels to me, as well. It's that razor edge between a winning season and losing season 9-8 8-9 of course, my head is always saying were going on a 10 game win streak.......uh with 4 to play....haby leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
To me, he laid it out there, versus a heater that was required. this is good study for a shallow guy like me the wide 3, or is it 4....shadowing just a bit one way or the other. 0 or 1 this does lead to some concern about how our #9 guys weren't showing me much in the way of counter moves. yes, this was the scrubs, but there just wasn't enough harassment to change the QB tempo on theby leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
They've got T Johnson on the squad. He looks like he's capable. I think they'd suit Kupp no matter what up there in Washington. It's his home state. Even as a decoy. How many Tight Ends are active on game day? In some ways, this may really get staff and ball handlers clear headed about getting dialed in.by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com

Zach Thomas could be late cut down It's tactical nowadays Wait, wait, wait. Make a move late as teams add cement and contract to their rosters, and tend to act more conservatively. The club will churn the bottom of the rosterby leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
Quindell ? C McCutcheon I also thought that once the practice squad was formed that they now have some sort of first refusal rights to avoid teams snapping up coveted squad guys.by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
definitely saw the lack of zip on the ball. can't really lay the ball out there when you're firing (or not firing in this case) into double coverage. In fact, the one pick was nearly quad coverage. It was the wrong place to go with the ball to begin with. For the rook, he was trying to be aggressive. Getting the ball into second level. I'm not going to beleaguer that. or the coach / coaches? the thing that stands out in this preseason match is not so much the fail of the players, but what might be the utter lack of getting these kids ready to play the inability to get reps to some guys in a positive way: to get guys on defense to cap back end? hmmm you bet that most won't be rostered, but it is disturbing that the keystone cops came to "unplay"by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
didn't even open the piece...... it'll be important for me to see guys maintain what they've done last op for some guys to stand out it's also that big op to be made a fool of out there. this is the coaching staff's moment to show us that they've succeeded in prepping a few youngsters, and young vets to play. Sure would love to see the special teams coverage unit to shore up.by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote from JR article from McVay "The interesting thing is, to get better at football you have to be able to play football" McVay proclaims exactly what I was thinking. They seem to be wanting Noteboom out there. I sense that, too. Issue is. Do you really want to send the guy out there with the fewest snaps, rehabbing the biggest injury, and it's a key divisional opener? Moby leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com

see.....Sam Bradford playing great through the preseason, and then some scrub hits him the leg and career gone. An ACL....again !! at least with the coordinated joint sessions they can still wear the red/yellow jersey, and can avoid the diving at the knees type injuries. Couldn't agree more You're competing against ST not depth at the positional spots. Not at all concerned, as of now, of teams coming to capture our cuts. Last year seemed clear that WR McCutcheon had value. He hasn't been able to sustain that value. Other teams are probably more concerned about the Rams seeking their cuts than the other way around. TBH, we are short handed along the defensive front But, I'm more concerned about these "depth" guys and if they can actually play top dollar special teams? There's a real good question about who is the first guy off the bench to rotate for Akers, but tbh are we really expecting Tutu and Rivers to be coverage guys on punts?by leafnose - RamsFootballFans.com
thanks for the insight the lapses by Bennett troubled me. the interception was grotesque in light of the route run wasn't the issue. on the bright side, I expect them to script some stuff for the start of the Broncos match. If practices go well in Colorado, then it's even possible that he doesn't even take the field for that game. Unwise, imo, cuz he really can use the reps. Thanks, Albany Part of how I see management of Boom's situation is his outlook on how he's being handled. I believe they want him motivated, and based on a history of playing in active games gives him an edge. Coaches probably keeping him competitive mentally, even if there appears a drift to make him a swing player. Not even dressed suggests he's being saved.
