Yeah I've watch a few TY vids of appliance repairmen talking like 90% of the appliances today are junk.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
QuoteJamesJM That people leave their homes on big holidays. To leave home on a big holiday - like Christmas, Easter... that's not even a thought for my family. BUT... I understand why many do. So I guess businesses get customers... won't be any of my family however. - JamesJM Something I was unaware of until about 20 years ago. Xmas and Thanksgiving are two of the biggest days of the yearby SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
Just curious. I know around here as recent as the 90s the one day a year most places were closed was Easter, now it seems very few close. Was just wondering if its the same where you live. Makes me think of Canada in the 70s. Almost nothing was open on Sundays. I mean it was hard to even find a restaurant open.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
I also like the show Air Disasters. There has also been a couple movies made about the Challenger Disaster.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub

I'll have something happen where my leg or arm will hurt and look and I've got a bruise and no idea how it got there.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
My favorite comedy of all-time. The Jonathan Winters gas station scene slayed me as a kid and still cracks me up today.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub

Fame causes peoples brain to crack, seems especially musicians. Have you seen what Madonna did to her bum? As far as musicians holding court during a concert I've only had that happen once and that was when I saw Fleetwood Mac in the early 90s. They did a 10 min spiel about green peace.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub

Doubt there is a bridge in the world that can stand up to being hit by a 200 ton ship.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
We had 5 people on bikes attacked a month ago but they fought it off. My uncle was jumped by one in Idaho years ago but he had a side arm and was able to shoot it. Even bears will almost always run off when they come across someone but man Mountain Lions just don't give a ****. Like I said before I've come across fresh tracks and scat but thankfully I've never been face to face with one.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
Binge-watched the first 5 episodes. So far so good, they've stayed really loyal to the book. Well book one anyway, that's the only one I've read.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
For those who don't follow F1, Williams #1 drive Alexander Albon crashed in practice and totaled his car. Williams doesn't have a spare chassis ready so they are giving Albon the #2 drivers Logan Sargeants' car to drive in the race. So Sargeant has to set our the race.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
Quotewaterfield My wife and I have been in that pub where Wayne and a townsperson start a big fight. The pub plays a prominent role in the movie. That's where I learned that pouring Guiness is done slowly for a reason. Something to do with nitrogen. My wife had two Jameson's before my "pour" reached me. That's awesome.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
Came across this little piece of trivia on IMDB: At the film's conclusion, after the credits, we see Kate and Sean standing in their garden waving good-bye. Maureen O'Hara turns to John Wayne and whispers something in his ear, evoking a priceless reaction from Wayne. What was said was known only to O'Hara, Wayne and director John Ford. In exchange for saying this unscripted bit of text, O'Haraby SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
Its funny how you can totally forget about songs. I've came across a couple lately on youtube that I hadn't listened to in 40 years even though I remember owning the tape.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
No idea why but when people don't do their job it sets me off like nothing else does. Won't go into the details but I've been on the phone for the last 3 hours with Amazon, Company that has parcel lockers where I live and my leasing office. They are all pointing the finger at each other. Don't know what my blood pressure is right now but I'm sure I'm in danger of a stroke.by SeattleRam - Bucky's Pub
