Kupp JJ Everett Ebukam ...will be starters this year or splitting time(Ebukam mostly with Mathews)...Everett will start...I think he's ready. But no yer right...there were 4 starters. I think this last draft will gain us 2-3 starters which is very good for drafting so low. NT Gaines...starts/shares w/SebastDay at NT. SS Rapp, BigDime & Big Nickel RB Henderson...in spelling TG or juby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
just INSANE!!! ...and that last scoring strike to everett was gorgeous!!!! That was a very good comeback by Goff!! imo justa great freakin game!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
to discuss a 5th rounder so much! If he even makes the team...it's gravy!!! lolby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and he's a fun guy to watch!!! I hope more of these types of QBs come into the NFL...it's clear they will after Mahomes/Goff helped remove the fear of "raid" program QBs. It's all just so fun to watch..and with ALL that crazy offense...it was the defense that won the SB. I love it!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
since I had no faith, whatsoever, that Hav had the feet to play outside....like at all!!! I think Noteboom has the niftiest feet and is perfect for LT.....and WILL be the starter there after Whit leaves... but I'm not to be trusted as i whiffed on Hav - like big time!!! Anyway, I share yer thots of Edwards best position of OG. I think Boom and Evans will be the starting left side of our Oby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I learned/played under mostly Coryell schemes of the 80s/90s and the only benefit, personally, of under center for the QB would be the timing and steps to help ensure the timing of the WR depth...that's the only benefit, IMO, to turning yer back to the defense on a dropback. imo And even then, there are other ways to align the timing with yer WRs routes & depth. I just think it's a vestigeby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
very good stuff!!! The draft guys here at the HERD are exemplary...truly....you guys are better than the National talking heads and you all do it in yer spare time - unlike them who get to do it full-time. All you Draft scouts here at the HERD rock!!! Hell, ya'll should form your own Rams-centric Draft Site - it would light up with traffic every April!!! I would sign up that's fer sure!!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
In that, Reynolds is #4...because of the incredible talent at #s 1, 2, 3 ahead of him. Reynolds doesn't get much a chance sans an injury to one of those 3 ahead of him. btw - We made it to the SB without Kupp...it was with Reynolds as the #3 that we kept right on rolling. imo I think Reynolds IS a #2 starter in this league and think that he will leave in FA and sign a contract to prove tby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
really freakin great insight, bro. I agree with the needs for next year cept I'd have CB 1st - unless we hit on the Michigan kid and re-sign Peters. Ya know, I wonder who the Rams are grooming for DC after Wade leaves??? I hope we run the same defense that we got all this personell for. I know ever team is multiple and it kinda doesn't matter anyway...but it still does and always takes aby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he'll sign a big FA contract in 2yrs for another team...that will net us a good comp pick... OR we just may trade him beforehand to get a better pick. ........ just spitballin...! Reynolds is like a MohammedSanu or MarvinJones kinda player....a very solid & capable #2 imoby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
which is kinda the first I EVER heard a player say that while on his new team. It's unusual, but I don't mind it at all. Guys move from team to team all the time and so coaches are ready for scheme/signal changes every year to offset any help/insight a former player might provide. I think it's kinda honorable, myself. I sure would appreciate the gesture if he went to the 49ers after beingby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
but I will go back and look at the 2017 games of Edwards...and I won't speak of him again until I do!! ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I thot he was pretty strong inside and is kinda a mauler...but had decent feet cuz he was a college OT. iirc Anyway, I like Demby as the 1st OG to sub in - maybe even over Evans. For sure over Edwards whom I'm not that high on from watching his vids... just my preference, I guess. Kudos to Edwards for playing hurt and the QBs blindside....but I just didn't see that much out of the ordinary fby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean, the guy plays very fast - faster then he timed...and is V.O.A. = Violent On Arrival He's got very good pass rush moves too....and he's so STRONG...w/one-handed QB takedowns. I still don't know how he lasted until the 5th round. HIGHLIGHTS Obo is my biggest curiosities this season at a position of need for us(EDGE).by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean, I get the sense he likes the Cards more than the Rams. If true, I dunno, maybe I'm just being petty...but I'm okay with his number not retired cuz of that...or it woulda been. I love his great story, what he did for our team, etc -"we'll always have Paris"- kinda thing... But I'm one who thinks we woulda been better if Trent Green stayed our QB. I think TGreen was as gooby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
we have too many good players and so we didn't need to add more?! So, we traded down?!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
we hardly knew ya!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
just such a great luxury to allow players the time/patience to learn the playbook front-to-back and develop at their own speed...then play FAST cuz they know what/where & why they are doin what they are doing on defense. I think the mental part is what slows players down from playing at their full speed as we often see from their college highlights...but lack that same speedin the Pros...somby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and your argument has finally persuaded me about QBs & 2nd contracts. so, good on you for sticking to yer guns and fighting this fight and explaining ad nauseum your points for a QBs 2nd contract. I have come to fully appreciate the side and points you have laid out. >insert a Jimmy Stewart pic here< So, in yer opinion...do the Rams sign Goff now and save a few million or waitby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
thanks for keeping this thread goin, Cromwell.....Sumpter was a mystery, a cold case...but we kept on it!! Does the season start this weekend?!.....ugh!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
remember, it was rumored Higbee was on the block for a 6th a few months ago. I could see the Rams take 2 new TEs - trade Higbee - and keep another TE on the PS. I think Everett is ready for his close-up this season as starter. The Rams would keep the UDFA who is the best blocker and then maybe 2 others that are solid receivers.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
empty stall to right of player ---look at the nametags at the top of locker stall.... #14 Webster , #13 Sumpter....could be late or maybe he quit...but it looks like he's still a Ram as of Monday.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
that's too bad...he looked fun!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
period. imo The best looks and then there can be other variants for throwback/color rush etc.....but those you have above are the BASIC uniform. If it's other than that...I will die.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean, Peters is supposed to be a great man-toman cover guy...but they had to actually change the defense and move him to more zone concepts cuz he wasn't pulling his weight in man coverage. I think McVay is just trying to fire up Peters...cuz he hasn't shown anything special -at all- in his coverage to me. He looks ordinary and we can get plenty of ordinary, off-ball zone CBs...those guys areby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
he's a big 6-3 WR that looks really good at contested catches...especially in the RZ. In his highlights the opposition played 10yds off him and he still was running deep routes on the defense...pretty funny!! All he had to do was take 3 steps and turn around to catch a short ball...so curious why the OC rarely did that in his clips.... the OC just continued to make Sumpter run 9 routes oby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
against Temple. Gets overpowered...reaches a lot and misses nearly every block on the 2nd level! ugh! He moves okay and can get there..but then whiffs. I take back including him into the potential depth for this team on a previous post. I got mixed up.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
a perfect RZ target and jump-baller!!! He runs a limited route tree...BUT, he sure has the contested ball thing down pat!!! And he's a really big target at 6-3..... but plays even bigger and really goes after the ball. I think he beats out Natson or Hodge and makes the 5th or 6th WR spot. He adds somethin to the WR skillset that we don't really have...a RZ jump-ball, go-get IT kinda guy!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
