QuoteBumRap ... without the best coaching up. I believe he would have bee. Better this year but for the hue of the turf. I don't know Bum...McVay is one of the better coaches in the league which means Goff has gotten some of the best coaching possible. It seems to me that you're not putting much responsibility on Goff for his regression.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotezn Well he had a better OL in 2020 than the Rams did, and still got sacked more. . On what basis are you saying that he had a better OL in 2020? What are you using to measure that?by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn It assumes that no top 10 OL will get flat DOMINATED in 4-5 games. And I don't think that has been established. Nor do I agree that they were dominated in 4-5 games.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Allen is it. Write him in for the starting center spot. Hope they're right on him. I thought Noteboom did a decent job at LT while Whit was down. He was good at pass pro but needed help in run blocking. But he didn't seem to be a liability. Agreed on Demby. Don't know that they have the LT of the future on the roster either. We'll have to hope that Whit plays well until he's 5by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit I'm not saying that I agree with what they did, but I think they probably had a handful of players identified that, unfortunately, didn't make it to them. After that happened, I think they decided to just load up on picks, and pick developmental players with certain attributes that they felt were good fits. I think they decided that, rather than settle on players for which thby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
On the issue being more about 2022, we're in full agreement. I've stated that several times. I'm still worried about it. On how well the OL performed in 2021, I think we'll have to agree to disagree. I simply don't agree that any proponent who says they were a top 10 OL has to explain games where they got dominated. First of all, "dominated" is a very subjective determination. Quoteferragamo79 and he was awful- too small started NB a guard he was awful sometimes you have to play with the cards you were dealt.....Rams are cap strapped and are paying a lot of dead money for stupid mistakes (Gurley, etc.-so sometimes I doubt the brain trust). Quotestlramz The QB Goff was. It's the answer for 2021 at least. They still have the issue of 6 upcoming free agents.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 Whit missed time....he's almost 40 Blythe struggled....he was essentially released Allen going into year four no contribution NB struggled at guard and was ok, at LT....let's hope he is not the LT of the future as he really struggles with run blocking Shelton.....did he ever start a game? or have significant playing time? Quotestlramz Not Snead. The Rams were doing things differently before McVay. But they've certainly doubled down on that since McVay arrived.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
The 2020 OL didn't struggle. I was expecting OL because several of them are upcoming free agents. That's the baffling part for me. But the only position that I thought a draftee potentially could help on this year was at center. If they feel they have the center on the roster already, it's hard for us to argue because we don't see what they see of the developing players. If they have a ceby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit They have nothing. When have they ever bothered? They simply don't place a high value on any of the positions in that unit. They place a high value on LT. That's the one position they've spent money on.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRamsDynasty Quotedzrams Quotealyoshamucci It's less about our moves (as Harris could be our 3rd TE to groom into a Waller type player) and more about the Lions not drafting a WR till the 4th round. QuoteStafford9 The first two picks do not make sense, I think the Rams got nervous when Seattle took Elkridge and reached for Tutu, I really wanted Creed or Quinn, with the second. QuoteLMU93 From a recent Downtown Rams article: 4) Robert Rochell – Central Arkansas Robert Rochell is a late day two or early day three prospect that the Rams could most certainly have their eye on. He tested extremely well at his pro-day, running a 4.39 40-time and turned out a great composite speed grade. At 6’0, he has 32 inch arms and has 12 career take-aways and 38 career pass breakupby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteIdahoRam There are definitely more refined guys going early which I would be happy drafting. But Rochell should slip to day 3. Small school kid but a true ATHLETE. Very physical, good tackler & great nose for the ball. He needs to work on his technique. IMO Practicing along side Ramsey & DWill under our secondary coaches could turn him into a dominate corner.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

Quote21Dog DJ might be an eight game rental. That too. I will say this, next time Snead and McVay talk about wanting to be more explosive, we should all pay close attention. They mean that! McVay said that the lack of explosiveness last year is not a world he wants to live in. I don't think McVay was willing to risk not being explosive in the event DJ gets injured.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog I get the "helping the 49ers thing," but let's let this play out before we lose our minds. The 49ers board could be saying the same thing.
