Throw in 12 personnel to keep em off balance and be patient with the run:wink2by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Their MO is the run game... they stayed true to who they are. They didn't go to RW when it was crunch time like they have in the past... that's on PC.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
You have to be patient with the run. These defenses are tough and the only way play action is gonna work is patience with the run game. McVay can't bail out if (when) its tough going... and it will be.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
At about the 4:15 mark of the post game presser, Myles Simmons asked McVay about why they ran a lot out of 12 personnel. McVay responded with kind of a wink and a wry smile and said something to the effect... it was predicated on the game plan they had this week and..." you never know what's coming next" Expect some new wrinkles going forward...:yesby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
MG try: nflstream.tv good luck and Go Rams!by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
The D is playing better... Talib is making a difference. But on offense... well there are real problems there as we just witnessed these last two weeks. As McVay goes, so goes Goff.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
... First time since McVay come in... its here. This game and going forwardby LoboRam - Game Time Forum
Its December and we're playing horrible... both sides of the ballby LoboRam - Game Time Forum
Thanks for sharing your memories with us LB. There are certain names and players that stand out in the Rams' incredible history... Isiah "Butch" Robertson was one of the those names and players. I loved him, Brudzinski and Youngblood at LB.... they were bad @ss players on a great team.... I was in HS at that time... miss those days.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah Speed I agree, What Whit brings to the Rams on and off the field can't be praised enough. I hope we can get another year with him and maybe even longer as a player-coach. I'm not sure if player-coaches have been tried in the NFL but it happens in other sports. To me, that would be great way for Whit to transition out as a player and into the coaching ranks, if he wants to go that route.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFL I was listening to a podcast last week, and a pundit (I think it might have been Joe Curly) said he wanted and expected a blowout in DET. He felt anything less would be pretty poor. The pundits seem to always want style points. The Rams are a beautiful team to watch and have captured the football nation's eye. When Rams don't play the way the talking heads think they should or meeby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Paraphrasing... He said, it all comes down to match-ups. And right now in the NFC side of the equation he thinks only the Saints, Seattle and the Cowboys would give the Rams problems because they run the ball really well. He said our D plays well enough to win but we will struggle against power running teams. Rams need to shore things in the run game the rest of the way because we could endby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
As a kid from New Mexico watching the Gabriel pass to a laid out Jack Snow in the corner of the end zone at that Coliseum... Changed my life forever. By the way, throw in those horns for good measure and the kid was never the same!by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd like to see more team speed, particularly at the LB position. After seeing what those two Cowboy LBs were able to do against the Saints..., moving side two side with speed, size and good tackling ability... that was impressive. Throw in smart, good character guys for good measure. We have tough match ups with good TEs and RBs like Kamara. The league is changing..., rules favor the offense.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
We're thinking about going again this year. We'll decide in a couple of weeks.... shouldn't have a problem getting cheap tickets. Its about a 6 hour drive for us... so no big deal there. We like staying in Scottsdale and hanging out there... a little pricey but nice. Gramaldi's is our favorite restaurant there... great Italian food and drinks. Nice hotels and restaurants around the stadium aby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesacram I wonder if Sean is gonna break from his "11" personnel at any point to really throw the opposing defense off. Maybe in a late season game with HFA on the line, or in the playoffs? With the emergence of both Higbee and Everett, maybe a 2 TE set? Then again, if it ain't broke, no need to fix it I guess. I've been wondering the same thing Sac. Sean's 11 personnel, smokby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
We'll see how helps... Frees up the LBs. Sam Shields playing the Hill. Didn't work out too well last series.by LoboRam - Game Time Forum
under the conditions that they've been under these past few weeks including the Mexico stadium debacle, a lot of other people will believe too. These guys have had more than their fair share of adversity!by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Seems to me that there is no sense of urgency on the defense until the game is on the line. When the D plays well, usually when the game gets close this team is hard to beat. They have to play with a sense of urgency from the first snap on. Playing that way for an entire game is hard to do but the coaches and players have to somehow get it done if we want go far.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks Mama, The Rams go on the road for a home game.... Unbelievable:banghead This team has had a rough two weeks... manby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks 3030... Beautiful Campus in the pines... Hope they feel a sense of pride of country when they go through those gates.... awesome!by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Hope our boys got their flu shots and don't catch a cold... going from warm temps to cold and then back to warm. Reggie and Rath will have them taken care of, I'm sure.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Colorado Springs altitude: 6035' above sea level. Forecast is for partly cloudy skies with daytime temps in the mid 50's and night time lows in the mid 20's. Man, these guys coming from SoCal and practicing all week in cold temps... Staying in Jacksonville last year worked before going to London, I hope their strategy works in the Rockies... we'll see.by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Our game was an ugly fight today but we win... Division games are always tough and sometimes ugly.... just win and advance!by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally out of character for this team... We are the third least penalized team in the league. But I will say this, the pressure is being ratcheted up each game. Saffold had a PF last week and you count em... this week. So the pressure is showing up. To, this was against the hawks so there's that. Coach will clean this crap up...by LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
- Rams can't seem to set the edge... always getting burned on boots and sweeps. Longacre is too slow and Ebukam... well I'm not sure. - Gap integrity is horrible... seems to me that Sue and Donald freelance too much hoping for the "Big" play. - LBs are just slow... they react and pursue too slow to the ball.. They have trouble getting off blocks.. Ebukam has problems here, againby LoboRam - RamsFootballFans.com
