QuoteSunTzu_vs_Camus O'Connell will want to set up a Rams style system and Jefferson is young and KNOWS it with 2yrs left on his contract and still has just enough upside/potential that Vikes might part with a 3rd/4th rounder to get him there for the off-season to help with installation of Rams-lite offense in Minny.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotecool_hand_luke I would doubt that McVay wants to trade Woods. He plays a different position than Robinson. Robinson is an x. Lines up by himself. Think OBJ and Sammy. Woods is in all the tight formations. He crushes the run blocks and has tremendous knowledge/chemistry with the offense. Woods is not replaceable from outside in the short term. His cap hit is small. QuoteBigGame81 QuoteRams43 QuoteRamsFanSince69 Did his star get tarnished in our inability to run the ball in the playoffs? Just sayin' Don’t think our problem was our RB’s. All 3 of them, btw. The problem was our blocking ability both OL and TE’s. There simply were no holes for the Rams in this game. Blocking yeah but is the scheme also predictable? I've heard that one. QuoteRams43 Quoteden-the-coach It's obvious he will be the new Secondary Coach replacing Evero who is now DC in Denver. Staley brought in Cooley and it's been written that it was Cooley's cover schemes that led to the improvement of the Secondary as the season progressed. With a juicy raise commensurate with his promotion, no doubt. For Sure!by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote3030 Persistent rumor that Greg Olson will return to the team in some capacity. Or, one source started the rumor and everyone else is spreading it. Olson has only been an OC and QB coach in the past. I hope the rumor is correct, Greg has many years of great experience at both QB coach and OC and is considered one of the best in the league helping QBs and OL with protection calls at theby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotemerlin But chances are it will be a close game because the Rams don't want us to relax. They want us sucking seat cushion. .by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep, me too, they kind of remind me of the 99 rams. I think we have the better team, we just need to stay focused, especially McVay.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
It did not make much difference with the Chiefs, Titans, and Ravens games and barely losing to the niners in OT. Being focused and on a roll - the Bengals are a scary team. I think we are probably the better team, but as we all know the better team does not always win the super bowl. Hope we play focused with resilience and finish the game; we can't let them stick around!by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

I remember Aeneas Williams setting the tone back when Turdell Williams was in his prime and trash talking a bunch before the game. I think it was the second pass of the game to him and as soon as the ball touched his hands Aeneas hit him so hard it knocked him out and he hit the ground like a wet noodle. I think Evans is cleared, he filled in for Havs two years ago and did pretty well. He is definitely better at RT than either guard position.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, I agree. I still think Edwards plays more like a tackle, and would probably be a pretty damn good RT. He struggles to play low enough and loses leverage, especially when he starts to tire. After watching and rewatching most of the Pre-season games I really think Anchrum could be a very good guard and an upgrade to Edwards. I was really impressed in the pre-season with Shelton and thought heby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Here’s Merlin… Btw going into this game the Cards were only converting 35% of third downs. I don't even want to look and see what it was today. McVay put himself into the position of hiring a friend who did not have a favorable history nor a good knowledge of the scheme McVay wants to play. Way I see it he has 3 options... 1. Stay the course and try to get Morris up to snuffby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 I 100% agree, fwiw. Here’s jrry32… 24 is a good player in the right role. Morris refuses to use him in that role. He should be playing as a hybrid safety/linebacker. Use him in the box to cover TEs and help stop the run when we need more athleticism on the field. He is not at home in deep coverage. Yet, Morris keeps sitting back in these C-2 shells with Rapp playing deep zones.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Not to take anything away from the impressive progress of Allen. But it DOES help that he now has Edwards on one side and Corbett on the other. Kudos to the entire OL for performance in week one other than the early run blocking struggles probably due to rust. Yes indeed, that makes a big difference compared to that first year he started.
