The problem was our blocking ability both OL and TE’s. There simply were no holes for the Rams in this game.
Blocking yeah but is the scheme also predictable? I've heard that one.
Probably somewhat, since we mostly use zone, but we did try some gap scheme with not any better sucess. I rewound some of the stuffed run plays, and our 3 interior OL were getting no push at all, usually losing about half a yard at the line. I was surprised, I thought we would be able run better. We ran much better against the niners D, and I figured they were probably slightly better against the run than the Bengals.
