QuoteEkern55 McVay could learn a lot from Petey Carroll. Can anyone on this board claim we’d see Seattle in first place in what we all thought was going to be a tank year? Pete Carroll got rid of Russell Wilson....will McVay see that Stafford's arm is deteriorating and move on?by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam McVay needs to make major changes on O before ANY action is taken on the D side. Bench Stafford!by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield Constant pressure, constantly being beaten down, that's going to affect the accuracy of any QB. Re arm injury-no one here is qualified as to this. Stop the excuses....Stafford has become Jim Everett and Marc Bulger.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit QuoteRamsAl48Do you really expect the defense to stop the GOAT 2 times on consecutive drives without rest? Yes, quite easily. Brady is a shell of the player he was, but any QB would have beaten this team with that punk a$$ coverage scheme they were playing in the last 1:30. You make the QB hold the ball and put him on the ground. If you can't do that, then you aren't good eby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit Perkins is a bum. If the Rams are starting Perkins, they have given up on the season. I rather watch the bum run around and be entertained....then to see Stafford struggle to complete a pass in the 4th quarter and choke the game away and completing less than 50% of his passes.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit Perkins is a bum. If the Rams are starting Perkins, they have given up on the season. Season is over....Stafford is washed.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBerendsenRam Last week Ramsey was voicing his displeasure with the losing in his Presser but naturally him or any of his teammates shouldn't be happy about it. The offense was poor but still the Defense allowed 3 big plays in 50 secs. Do you really expect the defense to stop the GOAT 2 times on consecutive drives without rest? He is known to pick apart defenses with dinks and dunks. Thby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam_Ruler And he's still better than Perkins. He's a fun story for making the roster. That's about it. I would rather watch Perkins running for his life then seeing Stafford crumble for the lost. At least losing with Perkins won't be the same old boring torture that Stafford is putting us through.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam_Ruler And he's still better than Perkins. He's a fun story for making the roster. That's about it. The season is over...why watch boring old Stafford side arm his throws into the dirt the rest of the season?by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog on the two deep balls to Kupp. Certainly there were more than a few bad throws, but I wouldn't attribute them to a QB with arm issues. He makes one good throw to Kupp for the TD....but stinks the rest of the game especially in the red zone and in the 4th quarter.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam_Ruler The Perkins 'era'? Stafford is terrible and his arm is toast.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford's passes are not crisp at all. He is throwing a bunch of woblers and his side arm throws are terrible. Most of his passes are one hoppers that his receivers has to make crazy shoes string catches....He didn't even attempt to throw a 15 yard pass on the last 2 offensive drives. The Bryce Perkins era has to start now....the season is over.....they aren't going to make the playoffs.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam_Ruler Unless something drastic has changed since this morning. When I read the article this morning it said that they wouldn't mind moving Allen Robinson if they could get Brandin cooks. But it didn't say that they were actively shopping him. Did something new develop this afternoon? I don't think it matters if the Rams trade for Brandin Cook....if Stafford's bum elbow causes him to avby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteStafford9 I love Stafford but for two ones I would trade Stafford....he is starting to look like his body is breaking down....that elbow is probably not going to get better. Get what you can for him now. Stafford isn't going to win the Rams too many games with that bum elbow....if he can't scramble or throw farther than 20 yards. His 5.7 yard average per pass was pathetic.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSoCalRAMatic So you want to trade our starting QB who just won us the Super Bowl for a couple of picks and then you want to promote our third string QB who has never thrown a regular season pass and start him? Are you also trading away Wolfie? Because you know there's no way he would want to back up Perkins after putting in all these years as the backup. McVay would never do that. He wouldby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteStafford9 We sold out to get this accomplishment, the problem is without draft choices and the ones we do select we draft poor, we have no depth. I feel we need to blow up this team and start over. Are FO is committed to winning they just do not draft well, but the Rams have proven they are committed to winning. Maybe they should try to trade Stafford and start over. Play Bryce Perkinsby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsdude Morris walked up to Shanny with this huge @ss grin on his face like he just won the lottery! I get "the game is over", "they're still friends" from Atlanta stuff but man it really p#ssed me off! I wanted to reach through the screen and just slap the crap out of him! At least "ACT" like you are upset that your D just gave up 31 points to the teams BIGby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit The 49ers play hardball. Right on the edge. They play dirty to get players injured.... instead of tackling with their upper body....they will throw their entire body side ways at players legs....look what happened to Higbee early in the game. No reason to tackle like that. Not to mention, Warner didn't need to roll up on Kupp's ankle and add in a body twist for good measure.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
If there was ever a time to put a nail on the dysfunctional Whiners...it's now. I know everyone is saying the Rams are always the team the Whiners beat to get right...... If the Rams beat the Whiners...it will probably send their team into a tail spin the rest of the season and lead to Shanahan and Lynch's firing. The Whiners have no picks after giving up the farm for an often injuredby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSoCalRAMatic The Chiefs kept running jet sweeps successfully against the Niners. If we use last week's playbook we can have success. We need to run or screen pass Powell and Atwell at Bosa. I can see the big giant oaf running up field thinking Stafford has the ball.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Is Kyren Williams playing against the 49ers? The Rams need to do the same thing the Chiefs did to Nick Bosa. They need to trick Bosa into rushing the QB and run the ball at him with Kyren Williams. Bosa is a liability on run defense. Andy Reid exposed Bosa as an one dimensional speed rusher.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam ....do you trust Wolford to throw any better? Not me. Perkins has the size and speed and evasive moves. Will Perkins mean a playoff run? NO. Wolford will get injured.....the NFL is not meant for slow and small QBs with weak arms.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog can't throw. Perkin's college tape shows that he can throw. How many interceptions has Perkins thrown in the preseason in the last 2 years compared to the number of TD throws he has made. Of course people on this board will keep saying that is against 3rd string scrubs in the preseason....instead of giving him a chance. They keep wanting to march Stafford and his bad elbow ouby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemexram What is there on the bench ready to replace Stafford? I just don't see any answers, I am only glad I am not the one who has to come up with them, I am just a complaining fan... They have a 6'3' 215 pound QB who runs the 40 in 4.5 seconds and has a decent arm. His name is Bryce Perkins.... But people on this board think Perkins is trash.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield You negated your own argument without even knowing it. Both Bulger and Everett's decline was directly attributed to an aging and declining O line. Right....that is why they replaced both Everett and Bulger when they become so damaged they were no longer effective qbs. Do you know what Stafford has in common with Everett and Bulger? All of them were pocket passers who got hit wby RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog QuoteRamsAl48 They need to find out what they have in Perkins..... They already know. That's why he's inactive every week. Watching Stafford this year reminds me of Jim Everett's and Marc Bulger's decline.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog QuoteRamsAl48 They need to find out what they have in Perkins..... They already know. That's why he's inactive every week. He has to be better than Stafford....that guy has a bad arm and is a statue back there.....by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSoCalRAMatic We're back to Perkins? He is third string. He is not leap frogging Stafford and Wolfie. Wolfie is another Pat Haden... he will get his head taken off...look what happened to him in Seattle. He is just too small to play in the NFL.by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDomerRam NFM Bench Stafford... he is a detriment to this team with his injured arm and this terrible offensive line. Look what happened to Marc Bulger behind a bad offensive line. Rams need a change at QB. They need to find out what they have in Perkins.....by RamsAl48 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit It was just a missed throw. Stafford threw 54 yards to Tutu in the first quarter. He can't throw over the middle with accuracy and he can't thread the needle. Robinson isn't the problem....it's Stafford's dead arm.by RamsAl48 - Game Time Forum
