Those games were a BLAST! Average Schmucks could afford to sit between the 20s. When the Bulls beat the Generals with Flutie and Herschel Walker, in 1985, it was THE loudest I have ever heard the stadium here in Jacksonville.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I can EASILY see that in the future. You will see Players skipping out on NCAA ball and going straight to the USFL or whatever Minor League the NFL comes up with. NCAA is a mess right now, between NIL and Players "Opting Out" of certain games. IF the NCAA does not get a grip....remember what I said.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
What the hell???by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I usually feel bad or disappointed with myself for letting it get to me. Heck, I have gotten snippy on the Rams board (Like many do) and then an hour or two later, I feel guilty or stupid as hell for doing so. This morning though??? I'd do it again. I'm not a big fan of today's selfish, entitled, all about me ,society. Seeing one of it's prime example members attacking a generation I love setby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
I just could not ignore an elderly man being verbally abused and intimidated. That guy was nothing but a coward. He stood there for 20-30 seconds, screaming at the old fella till he heard me. Then he could not get into his car fast enough. I had zero intention of getting physical, unless he touched the old man or me. I just wanted to get him to back off and stop acting like a Candy A$$ DIVA. Butby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Yes, I get grouchy and cynical but always try to "Rise Above" like my Mom and Grandfather used to say. THIS MORNING though......I was doing my daily walk. I was coming up on the old man who walks EEEEEVERY day. He is at least 89-90 years old and moves slow but he is out there, EVERY day. He wears an orange vest that is highly visible. There is a section of 300-400 yards where he will wby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Gotta remember, he had to be talked from retiring LAST off season. He is already financially set for life and his kids aren't getting younger. I also think that the end of last season was a glaring example that he wants to walk away from the game in one piece. IF he stays healthy this year, I think he will go out with a bang, especially if the Rams have any hope. But if we are absolute garbage, Iby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
STUCK up!!!!!! Seriously, I'll stop griping about my four prescriptions!by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
And I will be surprised if he finishes this season. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling the O line is just gonna be a revolving door or just ADEQUATE warm bodies. I'm just skeptical because our O line has been so average, at best, for so long.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
And my job would do a lot more than concussions and sprained ACLs. Besides, Players (Playing a GAME) are compensated VERY VERY well for playing with a ball. My gripe is the never ending demands. There's all this "concern" about future health and well being. How much has OBJ made over his career?? NOW it takes 15 MILLION guaranteed to make him comfy?? The B.S. is getting out of contrby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
These contracts are idiotic and nothing but further gluttony. Is football a dangerous sport? You bet. But so is Firefighting, Police, Tree Surgeons, Power Line workers. If a player cannot play because of injury??? My solution is......Use that $$$$$$ you were making to play a game on insurance, instead of a second mansion and bling. Half the NFL gets paid more for just one game than well over halfby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Through the 70s, 80s and into the early 90s. Hell, Charles White, fresh off rehab, kicked a$$.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
He was a great pick up and helped us a lot but I never really got attached to him. He's in it for the money. Period. These days, it's hard to get attached to any player. Traditions and loyalty is pretty much just a fan thing these days.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Being PISSED afterwards. Rams blew that game! And Fred Dryer getting the crowd riled up from the sideline. Dryer was in a dispute with the Rams.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com

Exactly what made that sooooo special. NOBODY saw it coming. Even when playing well in preseason, I was thinking .....Fun to watch but it's just Preseason.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
There are several foods that I rather not eat but if someone has cooked a meal and put it on the table for me, I will not turn my nose at it. I really do not care for Okra but my Bud's Wife made us Okra with stewed tomatoes on rice. I just had a small portion.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub

How Russell portrayed Herb Brooks after the US win over the Soviets was me to a TEE, after we won our first Super Bowl.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Since I was 9 (1976), I dreamed of seeing a Rams Super Bowl. After we beat Dallas in the 79 Playoffs, I busted out of my house and did a lap down our street, yelling "HOW BOUT THEM RAMS!! WOOOOOOO!!" I was literally sick after we lost SB 14. From then on, I always thought that when the day came.....IF it ever happened, I just knew I was gonna be a freak, screaming and running around anby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Steelers aren't exactly world beaters anymore and we all saw that AD was ready to call it this time last year. How he handled things with his "injury" told me that his head is not totally with the team and game like it used to be. To be quite honest, I'm surprised he's playing in 2023.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
