No one is talking about the glaring weakness of the Rams. Our special teams are historically bad. If we get out of this game with no game-changing eff ups it will be a surprise. The playoff win at Tampa was pretty bad. We hung on to win at San Francisco in McVay's third game something like 40-38. Wade Phillips cracked McVay up after the game by saying "well we sure kicked their ass"by Great Bordeni - RamsFootballFans.com

Making/not making the playoffs - 10 months ago
Is making the playoffs important when you're a six seed or worse? On the one hand, who wants to lose to the NFC East winner or the Niners again? On the other, a first round loss preceded a Super Bowl season the following year for last year's Eagles and our Rams in 2018. Plus, you just might shock the world like we did in 76, 79 and 83 (Dallas), 89 (Philly, New York), 04 and 20 (Seattle). Anby Great Bordeni - RamsFootballFans.com
Making/not making playoffs - 10 months ago
I go back and forth on whether it's a big deal if we make the playoffs. On the one hand, is it really a huge loss if we miss out on losing to the NFC East winner or San Francisco in the first round? On the other, it IS an opportunity to shock the world like we did in 76, 79, 89, 04 and three years ago. AND even losing that first game can serve as a catapult to success the next season. History lesson.... Our Rams made the playoffs every season from 1973 to 1980. The only one of those seasons without double digit wins we made the Super Bowl. Then we had two rough seasons. A correction in the stock market, if you will. Enter John Robinson, Eric Dickerson and several upgrades in talent. We made the playoffs in 83, 84, 85, 86, 88 and 89.
