I disagree. (Surprise). Goff needs the minimal help virtually every qb needs. Nothing more. 2019 doesn't show me anything to convince me otherwise. So in one breath you say "Give him a solid OL (not great, not top 5, not perfect--just solid and relatively healthy)" but then in the next it's "Goff needs the minimal help virtually every qb needs." Funny how just a couple of seasons ago Goff was "head and shoulders" above a QB many here called "Jimmy GaCrapollo". Now the conversations has turned to they are one and the same basically. So in my opinion it's one of two things....either Goff has worsened to reach GaCrapollo's level or vice versa.by GroundPounder - RamsFootballFans.com

That was the "Bootleg" game. At one time I think the announcer said out of 12-14 or so pass plays 8-9 were counter action bootlegs. McVay knew our OL couldn't protect Goff if that wasn't the case, hence the game plan to get Goff out of the pocket with misdirection. Call it good game planning if you wish and maybe it was, but it was necessitated by his fear of getting Goff bludgeoned.by GroundPounder - RamsFootballFans.com

On the heels of agreeing to a three-year deal, offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth is remaining with the Rams. His teammate for three seasons, Todd Gurley is not, however. Gurley, one of the faces of the franchise and one of the best backs in football from 2015-2018, was released by Los Angeles on Thursday, only to agree to a one-year pact with the Falcons on Friday.
