Totally agree about the LBs... "Blindside edge needs to be Hollins and Oko. I love Ebukam's hustle but his contain is not good he just doesn't have the instincts for it." This Thursday I would anticipate a full dose of zero blitz like in Miami. Hopefully Rams have learned from then.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

Just a few thoughts since I live in the belly of the beast and watch them a lot and listen to Boston sports radio daily, etc. When they run the ball they can get rolling. So that's where it begins. Still a very good OL overall including the rookie OG Onwenu, a 6th round pick who may be one of the best rookie OL in the league. The young RB Harris is legit. I think they'll try and get out on thby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

It's all about that. Patriots' special teams are playing really well. Can't allow any big plays there or make any big mistakes. And simply don't turn the ball over.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

I agree. The whole country is on fire with this thing. It is not in pockets here and there like April and May. Las Vegas is hardly safe haven. I would think having the guys in their own HQ and in their own homes makes more sense than putting them on the road. That or pause the whole season two weeks and put everyone in a bubble. Not just a few teams.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Just thinking out loud. And I am coming around to the idea that finding a WR4 with great speed for 2021 would be good for this team. BUT...whenever they have thrown deep well- whether it was when Watkins was here, or Cooks, or otherwise- it has almost always been from play action. AND we have seen both Woods and Kupp make plays deep. Reynolds too, actually. So, is their ability to go deep basby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think he's being honest and a realist. Is Goff a Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, Brady, Brees, etc.? A top 5 guy? No. Being in year 5 will he ever become that? Who knows but unlikely. Is he a good starter? Yes.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes. And sometimes rookies come out and make big immediate impacts (Fuller). Just saying 11 games in that is the exception, not the norm, and I don't think we have anything to worry about when it comes to Jefferson. If any of the 3 guys ahead of him were not producing then we could say "wait, he's not better than THAT guy?..." But all 3 are. I think back to someone like Az Hakimby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think in this of all years expecting rookies to come in and just make a splash is unreasonable. For one, he came into this team with three established WRs in front of him. Two, no OTAs and a very abbreviated camp. Three, zero preseason which is where he'd get extended work. His playing time has been sporadic- 59 snaps over the first two games and only 7-8/game on average since. He has madeby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I like Akers and he has a growing role but I want to see Henderson get 15 carries/game consistently. Until Tampa (league's best run defense) he was averaging 4.9 YPC. PFF and Football Outsiders both have Henderson among their top 8 RBs. I'd love to see a 15-10-5 split in carries between Henderson, Akers and Brown this week.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams RBs the past two games: 38 carries for 147 yards (3.9 YPC). Excluding the 61-yard run by Akers it's 86 yards and just 2.3 YPC. So yes, the running game needs to get back on track.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not trying to excuse his performance Sunday or deficiencies in general. But clearly the numbers show Goff has been worse (since 2019) vs. SF than everyone else by a pretty wide margin. As Jourdan and Rich H. discussed on this week's 11 Personnel podcast, the 'improvement' with Goff is more likely about raising his floor than his ceiling. That is, it's about reducing the amount of clunkers thaby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
PFF All-Pro Team Update: The best players at each position through NFL Week 12 First Team: DL Aaron Donald, Los Angeles Rams Breaking news: Aaron Donald is very good at football. How good? Well, he leads the NFL with 66 total pressures, seven more than any other player at any position. Donald is the only primarily interior player we have seen lead the league in total pressures since 2006, aby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
What I meant was neither are considered burners but Brown really isn't so the transition to just Henderson and Akers as the RB duo will allow them to make more plays. Neither is a guy likely to break off 75-yard runs but both can give them those 15-25 yard gains into the 2nd level. Both have good vision and ability to make people miss and also move the pile. That works for me just fine. If that mby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I still think this is a team likely heading for 11-5 and the playoffs (probably the 5 seed but maybe the division) and ultimately the 2nd round of the playoffs. I wouldn't call that underachieving if that's what they can do. I think it's a top 8 team with holes to fill and improvements to make to leap up into the top 4.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
It's a valid perspective. I dismissed the idea of needing a burner at WR before the season but perhaps that's wrong. I like Jefferson A LOT and think he's perfect for this scheme, but when he becomes WR3 next year and they seek a role player for WR4 maybe they should find that speed guy again. I am less concerned about a home run hitter at RB, though. Henderson and Akers have the ability to mby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think most QBs really like having a TE they can get the ball to frequently. Not sure how effective Higbee was Sunday with that elbow issue. Hopefully better this week. Against Arizona in two games last year he had 15 catches for 191 yards and 2 TDs. Rams and Goff could really use that sort of production at TE this week...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Interesting look back. Brock was by no means a big playmaker but you could say he was 'efficient.' He was top 10 in passer rating and top 5 in completion percentage that 1985 season. Like the narrator says hard to criticize any QB that had to go to Chicago in January that year.. But man he was ugly that game...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
As much as we all love Dickerson sometimes we forget how much of a fumbler he was and that it probably cost the Rams several games in those 1983-'86 seasons. Not as bad as Wendell Tyler (one fumble per 23 touches as a Ram) but still... ED fumbled 51 times as a Ram (once every 32.3 touches). Faulk, Jackson, Gurley, etc. were nowhere near that.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
