it look like to me that the line as a whole is struggling. i have admittedly however not analyzed their individual play. what is your analysis?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i guess its obvious at this point but i agree 100 percent. draft high, draft often and let them battle it out in camp.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
last year he got tons of praise for putting this team together and at 3 and 3 this year posters want to fire him. i guess thats the "what have you done for me lately" life in the nfl.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
It's all right there.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
They clearly dominated the ranks yesterday but what was their record the last 5 years? Last year this time people wanted the lynch fired.....oh I dont know...the Patriots as an example? Granted I hate them but you csnt argue with the results.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
how on earth did they make the superbowl last year? clearly we should have kept spags as the coach. he was building a dynasty.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
well didnt we lose noteboom after that first drive?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Well I dont know that any player is worth that. I dont think Goff is worth 30. But that's the going rate for talent at their respective positions. So yes I pay it unless there is another top notch pass rusher I can pay. I believe clowney signed an extension right? Well again I like Littleton. We may be the highlight of the d thus far. It's the position not the player. In recent years at leastby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I disagree on Fowler. I would sign him. This defense needs playmakers on the edge. He makes plays imo. Not Littleton is a no brainer. Yes hes played very well but teams under wade have been reluctant to pay the ilbs alot of money. Well see... Hill signed an extension. I dont believe hes a FA. Peter's is the guy I keep wavering on. QuoteRams43 Yeah, it’s waaaaay early, but still..by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
How do you get him under the cap THIS year?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
its not a gimme but it is something we have come to expect from him.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
his base salary this year is 2.5 mill. he has 2.4 million in signing bonus spread out over the next three years. all of that would accelerate into this year if he were cur or traded. the net savings would by 100,000.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i guess you could with AD but if gurley has knee issues why would you want to extend him longer? and no, brees is a free agent in 2020.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Good point. I would assume not but still a hefty restructure.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
But then who plays de? And does that make you better as a team?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
You do the math. Williams is making 11 million in base salary this year. The rams have 2 million in cap space. It's not even close unless you want to cut someone making approximately 9 million.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that the oline play needs to improve but im not sure thats how our fellow poster would see it as he noted that the "Goff and Higbee extensions were dumb".by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
and yet they managed 500 yards of offense and 40 points. how do you account for that? is it luck?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
So I guess since everyone has out the Pat's in the super bowl they must be ranked #1 in all these category right?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Isnt that what happens when you go down 21 points? The defense knows you have to pass do they tee off on the qb.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess that's possibly but they are averaging 30 points a game. So while they may not be as good offensively as last year they are still pretty good. Top 5 in scoring I believe.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
With the 8th ranked offense in terms of scoring and 2nd ranked defense in terms of yards in troublesome. How will they dig out of the 3-0 start?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
im not sure the word "disaster" applies.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
agreed you simply cant. not only do do different people simply react differently to external stimuli but you are only seeing a snippet of information and trying to extrapolate how someone feels overall from that literally a clip of a few seconds (if that). best just to avoid those sorts of "conclusions" i remember when goff was a rookie and standing on the sidelines, lots of posters wby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i tend to agree. im targeting DE at the moment (Nick Coe?). moreover i dont think they let both peters and talib go. either sign peters long term or franchise him OR sign talb to a 1 or 2 year deal like Weddle and Mathews. but i doubt both are gone. IMO you want some continuity there.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
That team that is literally trading anyone who can actually play in the NFL away was quite impressive. Might be a preview of the AFC title game.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
well the guy you pegged as not adding much has 2 sacks in 2 games. moreover the team as a whole is 2-0 and scored 60 points against allegedly pretty good teams while not really hitting on all cylinders just yet. so im not really seeing your skepticism. what the patriots do is irrelevant to "a wild card birth and early exit', if they happen to play them it will be in the superbowl. u also wby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
So I'll be honest I was a little distracted yesterday and didn't really focus on demby but what I'm hearing about him from coaches and reporters seems differ dramatically from posters. Who's right?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
