Quotemerlin While it was great to get an impact RB, their offensive struggles put things in perspective. Hitting on a QB, particularly a big pocket type who can benefit from the protections, settles your position for the next decade. Hitting on a RB, which they did, well, it sure is cool for highlight reels. We need to wait a few years of course but I am certain their decision to pass on Darby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteEternalHorns Let's take it for granted that Aaron Donald is being held on a majority of plays. We've all seen it. Let's take it for granted that the ref is seeing this, but choosing not to throw the flag most of the time for whatever reasons. If this is a viable strategy on the part of offensive lines, then the REAL question becomes: Are the Rams doing it, too? If the answer is &quoby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Yes! That Supe XXVI loss STILL bothers me, especially since it appears we were early recipients of "Spygate" shenanigans smh. Not to mention those clowns shouldn't have been in the Super Bowl that year to begin with (Tuck Rule)!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
I just looked it up.....1974 - the same year they moved the goalposts to the back of the end zone and limited contact between a DB and a receiver to 3 yards (later moved to 5 yards in 1978). These changes were all made to help generate more offense (touchdowns).by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Holding penalties used to be 15 yards, believe it or not. Some of the "Old-Timers" help me out. When did they change it to 10 yards? I think it was around 1973 or so...by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Excellent analysis, but I disagree with one comment...To imply that Goff is more accurate than Warner is false. Kurt was EXTREMELY accurate. In fact, John Madden once said that Warner was the most accurate QB he had ever seen.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm sure most of you remember the trick play the Saints called on us last year up 21 points with only 10 mins left in game (which resulted in a 50 yard TD). Clearly Payton was doing this to rub it in the face of Greg Williams, but if you are a Rams player that was on the team last year are you still ticked off about this? Does McVay use this as a touch of extra motivation? What say you?by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Last time I thought like this, we got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, followed it up with a Super Bowl loss and shortly thereafter went into a tailspin of futility lasting almost 15 years. Just sayin'by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, twice actually. Went to an Eagles-Rams game in 2002 or 2003 - we lost. Also went to a Eagles-Raiders game in 2002 (my brother is a HUGE Raiders fan). Funny thing about that game is the Raiders were spanking the Eagles (it was the year Raiders went to Super Bowl) and my brother is 6'3" and well-built and he knew not to stand up and cheer as the Raiders were administering the whippin' iby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Pats??? NEVER lol! There is no team in sports I despise more than them! I went to college in Massachusetts and trust me, their fans are the WORST (and this was way before they ever won a Super Bowl!) I'm surprised to read this. Had NO idea there was a passionate fan base for the Jags. I always envisioned them as a team that no one down there really cared about and would be the first franchise relocated to London lol.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Some of those guys have pretty interesting insights. One guy in particular has a very negative assessment of Goff (doesn't goes thru his progressions, lacks accuracy, etc), but others feel he's coming along nicely. Several people were saying they feel he targets Kupp too often.
