Hitting on a QB, particularly a big pocket type who can benefit from the protections, settles your position for the next decade. I just looked it up.....1974 - the same year they moved the goalposts to the back of the end zone and limited contact between a DB and a receiver to 3 yards (later moved to 5 yards in 1978). These changes were all made to help generate more offense (touchdowns).by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Saints Run Up Score On Us Last Year - Any Repercussions? - 7 years ago
I'm sure most of you remember the trick play the Saints called on us last year up 21 points with only 10 mins left in game (which resulted in a 50 yard TD). Clearly Payton was doing this to rub it in the face of Greg Williams, but if you are a Rams player that was on the team last year are you still ticked off about this? Yes, twice actually. Went to an Eagles-Rams game in 2002 or 2003 - we lost. Also went to a Eagles-Raiders game in 2002 (my brother is a HUGE Raiders fan). Funny thing about that game is the Raiders were spanking the Eagles (it was the year Raiders went to Super Bowl) and my brother is 6'3" and well-built and he knew not to stand up and cheer as the Raiders were administering the whippin' iby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Some of those guys have pretty interesting insights. One guy in particular has a very negative assessment of Goff (doesn't goes thru his progressions, lacks accuracy, etc), but others feel he's coming along nicely. Several people were saying they feel he targets Kupp too often.
