The Rams know what they are doing......they targeted this guy. Interceptions are nice, but man up is more important for Rams style defense. I am happy they got him. Talib and Peters will help coach that boy up.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Our defense needs some thumpers!!! Been missing for a few years :) He takes over for Christian (#41), right :) JJ will move to FS if Weddle's legs are gone. I am surprised he seems not so suited for coverage, but I guess we can't get a pro bowl man coverage safety at that late in the 2nd round.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I knew the Rams would got a 2nd-4th hog molly---see my 'guard' list. THis guy is perfect guard for the Rams. Ya, maybe he plays RT as a backup, but he will be a good guard in the NFL. After watching tape: good feet, natural strength, very good effort. The feet will be outstanding for zone blocking, and pass blocking as a guard. Report says he is a communicator. Also he has good height/weby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Hmmmm, thanks, will check him out.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I am hoping the same thing--trade down, and draft best guard or tackle convert to guard..by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Roger Saffold was the best Ram guard since maybe Newberry. (Yes, I remember A Timmerman, lol) He was a mediocre LT at best....but, a great draft pick! The Rams needs some more reinforcement, if back up J. Damby doesn't work out---or even if he does The Rams will draft a guard, or a tackle who can convert. 4. Exactly what you wrote--I agree!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
ZN, no agreement on Rams having same record without Watkins. He didn't do a whole lot, out outside of 49ers game....but, teams had to account for him. Rams may not win division without him in 2017, in my opine. What Sammy didn't do is his problem, and it is good he left.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Haden, who could not throw the ball 50 yards hate Haden's play, worst every: but, I have him on tape throwing it 60 plus....sorry, no wind. But, he was the worst ever, eever and eva!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
They will put up 9 points max game 1 against Panthers if they rest their starters the entire ex season. Re-watch that Raiders game---the offense was atrocious....Goff was, too...and all the timing was bad. The Raiders were a bad, bad, bad team. Panthers defense is tough and is coming off a bad final 7 games...they will redeem.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Goff is healthy 2 Pro Bowls 4 playoff games 1 super bowl Wentz has not been in his team's playoffs 2 years now 1 Pro Bowl 0 playoff gamesby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Well the "4th" best season, or 5th if you reconsider 1989 in 50 years...is great. So ask yourself: what more do you want? I get it, but the franchise is moving forward! Content mixed with driving forward....will move all things to something better. blah blah blah :)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I getcha...true... But, they are SO predictable, and for a good D coord that is great.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
The only reason the Rams keep beating Seattle is because of the 1970s offense that Seattle must run because can't throw every passing down from the pocket. He is a HOFer, but Rams have ALWAYS had his number. STAY IN SEATTLE, RUSS!!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
NO doubt.....all of them were 'tape' heroes. Banks had 42 wonderlic....as i type that, I know I must be wrong....but check it out.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
"Les has always preferred the "athlete" over the "try hard" guy" I think that changed with McVay....Kupp, J Kelly, B Allen, J Johnson are certainly examples of lower level athletes--in the relativity of numbers. BY the way--how do you back Spags?Great D coord, but as a head coach he made every mistake in the book, and makes Jeff Fisher look like McVay in compaby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I am watching the whole 1989 season, Rams and about 100 other games.....can't wait--I had heard about the 'drive'....didn't know about the stand at the end...on week 4, now--which I went to. SPOILER ALERT :)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Ok, gotcha.....2020 Wino becomes a monster!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Pass Protection - Anchor to keep power rushers at bay and the quick feet to mirror rushers who attempt to work to his edge. No "type" really had success against him, but long-levered defenders can get into his chest-plate at times. Good success rate in the games I watched and was rarely beaten early by a pass rusher. Has shown the ability to recover even if he is initially wrenched off-by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Chase looks a lot smarter than all of those players he is playing against---he has an unnatural, and superior mental advantage that may not carry over into the pros....I wonder if that makes him more Grant Winstrom...he isn't that strong, and is stiff. YOu say he is NFL strong, now? As usual, I don't know a whole lot....looking for clarification. Thanks as usual for your excellence.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I wish top 5 offense. Big changes on O line. Saffold was a top 5 guard. Whit one year older......Gurley unstable...by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Old Can be ok, when you are smart....like Talib (who has almost no skills, leg-wise)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. Noteboom is probably not physical enough, despite his size to make it work at LG....but, I am happy to be wrong. He is a great LT talent, where his weakness will be least exposed. Wayne Gandy career coming...which ended up being great, though Vermeil didn't have the patience for it. All that said, Noteboom gets every chance to win the LG position... I think Clay Matthews rotatesby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Oshea Dugas, G, Louisiana Tech Guy was an all state wrestler, 335+ pounds and 6'5"....I want him! Then Goff and our RB have another good 5 years :) How are his feet, lol.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
