Well, you can continue the great tradition of pi$$ing off everyone in TX by moving there. They just love Californians. :) Mama mentioned Austin and I go there every summer (well, not last summer) to meet up with my college homies. Most of them live in Texas and we all love Austin. The BBQ is phenomenal, and that's coming from a KC guy. From what I hear, the housing is getting pricey because evby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
I had my eye on it when I was in the market. Problem was they were sold out. Like, everywhere. Now I see they're on sale all over the place. Oh well. I like what I've got. :)by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Good to see you, Sag. Hope you're well. I'm with you on the expectations; it's time to raise them. It doesn't make any sense to lower them or even keep them the same. I also agree with you on Stafford's age. That's evidence they're in "win now." I'm not convinced of Stafford being a long-term option. We'll see. Part of that is due to his injuries, which were even more jarring aby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Pepper lets you think you're smarter than her. Cats just don't care about your feelings lol. This is a bit off topic, but I recently came across a correlational study of dog vs. cat people and personality traits. So, I always have assumed that there are more dog people than cat people based on my own experience. But the numbers were much more stark than I thought. Only 11% ofby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Sorry to hear about your other kitties; I know how awful that feeling is. Like y'all are saying, it does help to adopt (and save) new friends. Good name choices, btw. My folks were gonna name their new cat Lily, but switched at the last minute to Cricket. I love cats. I love dogs, too, but growing up we mostly had cats and I think due to my personality I vibe with them more. Congratsby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
From what I've read, European Coons are just Maine Coons with European bloodlines. At any rate, they are gentle giants. The cat I probably want the most? A Savannah cat.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Good point on ammo. 9mm is pretty cheap and easy to get, but sounds like you have it even better. Shield .40, eh? Dang. I'll just say I'd need a lot of range practice lol. I shot a Hi-Point JCP, and I didn't mind it. Not a lot of recoil for a .40 but it was like holding a lead brick.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
I'm not one those types that think players need to be "fiery" or however it you wanna describe it. But if that's their complaint (nota bene: I didn't watch the clip) about Stafford, then they might check out some Rams games.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Glock 43. Despite my having big hands (mostly fingers), I love how much grip I could get on it. My hands basically swallow it. It's only 6+1, but you can buy extended clips for pretty cheap. It's basically the same size as a 26, but it's a little lighter and smaller clip. And I actually like the lighter weight. For me and the situation I'd be using it, smaller is better. They're all city slickers from KC that come down to Truman Lake to stay at their lake house. They're a PITA when they come to town over the summer, but like you said, they're downright dangerous around deer season. Those guys shouldn't be within 50 feet of an AR-15, and yet they come loaded for bear. And they are usually loaded (well, I guess in both senses of the word). One reason I doby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Here we go again. I said the other day my feelings about DUIs. If he was under the influence and driving, he'll pay the price for it. That said, and like waterfield put so well, this has nothing to do with what was conveyed in that commercial. We better go through everything he's ever said since grade school to see if he did or said something stupid, too. Good grief.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Get some rest and heal up, Mr. Stafford. Sounds like a really good guy, though. Always a plus. Now Snead and Demoff need to work their voodoo on the salary cap and get this guy some help.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com

As far as the media, I think there is a tendency to fawn over particular players. Mahomes is one of those guys. He's hard not to like and he's been extremely successful in the short time he's been a starter. Just my observation. They tend to cut Tom Brady a lot of slack, too. That said, and I can't speak for everyone on here, but I don't think anyone would expect Goff to perform well theby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
But yes, I agree. I was suggesting him more in jest than as an actual resource for analysis. Plus he's flat out annoying.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Whatever clip I listened to, he was saying how Mahomes is not as good as everyone said he was because GOAT type players don't get blown out in the Super Bowl. He listed all of Brady's losses in the Super Bowl as an example. It's probably not the kind of direct criticism you're thinking of, but he mentions him by name, not the team.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
He's been unabashed in his criticism of Mahomes in the clips I've seen. Or maybe not. He's usually insufferable for me. In Mahomes defense, there were a couple of incredible throws he made that, I think, surprised even his receivers. I remember one crazy throw to Hill doinked off his helmet; right through his hands. Would have been a TD if I remember correctly.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
You think they hit critical mass by missing both OT because it affects communication and cohesion. But you think it's possible to get by with one OT and one guard out. I think you're underestimating the players on TB. I conceded that missing Fisher hurt. I just don't think it would've made a difference, based on what I saw. They weren't running a bunch of stunts or doing anything fancy. TB liby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Pace does not equal Fisher. Not by a long shot. Fisher is a decent LT. Not on Pace's level. One player was not going to make or break it for them. It's not something we can test, but I stand by what I said. If Fisher played, it wouldn't have made a difference. They would've gotten dismantled just the same. Just how I see it. Like I said, pressure was coming from all over the place, not just outside. It was a complete collapse. Missing Eric Fisher affected the game, but I still stand by what I said in my previous reply. Agree to disagree.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't pay as much attention to the commercials this time, but I really liked the Bass Pro/Cabela's/Tracker (am I missing anything?) one with the kids catching fish and getting outdoors. Yeah, kinda lame, I know.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
It was terrible. I like The Weeknd, so I was a little ticked off. Bruno Mars from a few years still was the best halftime show I've seen. Not that that says much. They usually suck.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
They had pressure coming from ALL angles, not just the left side. Consistent pressure up the middle kills Mahomes's ability to step and run around.TB has good athletes on the outside to keep up with him when he tried to run away. I watch Chiefs games all the time. This game was different. Osemele was out for the season in week 5. Schwartz has been missing since week 6. I have no doubt thby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
What more does this guy have to prove? Go play golf everyday. We hear enough about Brady already. Just go away.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Mahomes played great in the regular season against TB. Difference was this time the pressure actually got to him and he had no where to throw the ball. Good job Todd Bowles.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
