Smart cuts, crisp passes, great finishes.... I really have hard time thinking of a better sport to watch when a team is playing well. When I was in undergrad, I went to every single home men's basketball game at OK State. This team is the best we've had since the Tony Allen Final Four team in 2004. No March Madness last year has me appreciating college bball even more this year.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub

Everyone I know who's been vaccinated has suffered similar reactions, usually after the second shot. And that's with Pfizer or Moderna. Except my parents. My pharmacist buddy told me to tell my parents to take two Tylenol an hour or two before the vaccine, which they did. The result? No side effects. Obviously can't draw any conclusions from it, but it does make you wonder. I must saby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Slight pinch. I can't speak for the COVID vaccine because, like I said, I haven't gotten it. But every vaccine I've had (that I can remember) has given me a slight pinch. Nothing remarkable or noteworthy. But I can tell someone poked me. Besides that fancy bandage flu vaccine I got. But I won't talk about that because I don't wanna get your undies in a wad. ;)by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Great characters. Mickey Haller, Bosch, and now Ballard. Bosch is a great series, too. I'd never heard of Titus Welliver until that show, but he delivers. As an aside, he does a great Christopher Walken impression. I know, I know, who doesn't these days... Also can't go wrong with the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. Tom Cruise should not be allowed to play the part of Jack Reacheby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
The pharmacist pointed out this was a new thing they were trying. Whatever that meant. She never mentioned anything about it being painless. Maybe it was just me.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Perhaps you can improve upon it because it only happened once, and I get a flu shot every year. Maybe there was something wrong with it that I didn't notice? This was 5-6 years ago, mind you.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Wasn't holding out much hope, but they pulled it off, as is their penchant. Tendering Williams and re-signing Floyd pretty much does it for me as far as FA is concerned. It would be great if they signed an upgrade over Blythe, but I don't mind them drafting one either. Actually, I'd like to see them go after a WR more than a center.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
I won't be able to get a COVID vaccine probably until later in April or early May, but what you said is how I've always felt about flu vaccines. I remember one year I got a flu shot from Wal-Mart of all places, and they put the bandage on before they gave the shot. But the bandage had a sort of membrane or diaphragm that allowed the needle to pierce it cleanly and easily. But that wasn't tby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
There was a whole d@mn war America fought a long time ago about this. Why do I care about what they're doing now? Especially when it's mostly nominal? And sadly, this isn't surprising when you think about the history of the British monarchy.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
I wonder if you pulled an intercostal muscle. I'm still dealing with one I pulled over a year ago. They suck. I stretch all the time and use my foam roller and it still bugs the pi$$ out of me. Not an incapacitating pain. Just dull and annoying.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
A few years ago, I was at my parent's house and I smoked a brisket for me and my dad. A USDA Prime brisket at that, so very fatty. (But so d@mn good). That night, my dad woke up and was HOWLING. Not exaggerating. I've never seen my dad cry before, and there were tears streaking down his face. Severe stomach pain. I felt like crap, because I thought I had food poisoned him. But he never vomiby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub

Or did the alcohol help with that? I've heard of people using vinegar solutions to clean windows, but I can't stand the smell of vinegar and would be afraid of it sticking around.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
I know not everyone agrees, but Stafford's injuries and age are a concern. I'm glad he's a tough guy, but I'm not putting all of my eggs in the toughness basket. Optimally, he can play for 4-5 more years and in the meantime the Rams draft a QB. I wouldn't even mind if they traded up for one if they liked him. If not this year, then definitely next year. I don't know what they have in Wolby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
What a thing of beauty. Hakim made you hold your breath every time. He was like a box of chocolates. No way the Rams lose that game if he doesn't fumble. The best Wilkins onside kick was still that one against Carolina in 2003. Kicked it and recovered it.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen it written "fiancée." I don't use it, myself. I was watching some comedian the other day and he made a big deal out it.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com

There's a risk that if I eat something I could choke on it. That doesn't mean I won't eat. Explosive plays and scoring points is the coin of the realm right now in the NFL. But the best offenses, overall, have balance. An offense that can win in grind-it-out games or in a track meet. The Rams have a good RB and ground game. They need more explosive plays. The best glass cleaner I've ever used. I HATE smudgy windshields, and like you I always had problems with smears and residual matter left behind. This stuff is spot on. Or no spots, I guess... Oh, and roman is right about the newspapers. I don't know why; it works even better than those expensive microfiber towels or whatever they're called.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
But I look at a place like Gaylord Stadium, where the Sooners play (UGH!!), with a capacity of 80,000+ and I think it seems reasonable. And Norman is only 20-30 minutes from OKC. I'm not familiar enough with San Antonio, but it seems more than capable as far as infrastructure other than a stadium, which is kind of important! But maybe someone else can enlighten me on that. If the Rams played a game in the Midwest or even SW, like Omaha or OKC, my @$$ would be buying tickets yesterday. That is a dandy idea.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
2003 versus the Bengals. Still have the ticket. It seemed fine at the time, but the lighting was like something you'd find in a middle school hallway. Judging only by TV, it certainly seemed darker when the AstroTurf was replaced. That stuff provided some great contrast.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Good point about rookie wideouts. WR isn't a position a lot of guys can just step into as a pro and not miss a beat. This is going to be interesting offseason. The Rams FO never ceases to amaze me. They're not gonna go all in for Stafford and rest on their laurels. They will find a way to free up cap space and get what they need or find another trade partner. For the most part, I only follow the Big XII, so I'm not familiar with him. I liked his speed and his ability to return kicks. Webster ain't cuttin the mustard. The kid from N. Texas I have heard of. I have a friend that went to grad school at N. Texas and he's always talking him up. For Reynold's size, I've always felt he wasn't as aggressive going up for catches and had some mental lapsesby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
