QuotesanfRAM I don't know how this game will play out, but I hope everyone is enjoying the season in their own way. To me - seeing them back in California - the team I grew up with - is enough for me to be happy. :) I know it's different for some. Everyone ROCK ON... We have the Rams. :) sanfRAM Very nostalgic for me. Surreal actually.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky there has been no official statement on Quinn that I know of. He's still playing to my knowledge. Grits Quinn is listed as Questionable. That doesn't mean he's playing one way or another. My guess is that he isn't based on the fact that he didn't practice at all this week and all this money is coming in on the Bills.by max - RamsFootballFans.com

They need to stay away from Tenn players. Fisher can't be unbiased with them. And Fisher said GRob is fine. Now we know what he really thinks.by max - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteHacksaw_64 Quotemax The reality is that Keenum is a 2 TD QB. That's the most production that we should expect from him game to game. So far in 4 games, outside of Tampa, Keenum has produced 0, 0, and 2 TDs. Some folks say throw out the SF game, ok, then we should also throw out the Tampa game. To me, the only unknown is can Goff play. I mean, can he play QB at a high enough level to be a sustainable QB who does not need to be carried by the rest of the team. All we need is a Matt Ryan level QB. Some people still doubt that Goff can make the transition to NFL QB. That's what I'm waiting to see get demonstrated, at least flashes of it once he gets on the field, cause right nowby max - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLesBaker If they beat Buffalo and hit 4-1 and Keenum isn't stinking the place up I'm pretty sure Fisher will be confident that Keenum can do enough against the lowly Lions and the Giants to win, and he can skate into the bye week at 6-1. If Keenum does manage those games well enough that the Rams don't lose and are 6-1 we are going to be peeing our pants with joy and Fisher is going to be peby max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePHDram so what is my bias and/or agenda? I noted that coaching may be an issue or the issue, but so may a number of other factors so feel free to stick your head in the sand pretend you have all the answers. and regards to your earlier sanity comment...sanity is not truth. sanity is conformity to what is socially expected. Any unbiased or non-agenda driven person can see it that way. Goff has to drive a bus over the obstacles in his way. Let's hope he's good enough.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLesBaker It'll take one loss with a bad game by Keenum, maybe even two bad performances with a win and a loss. I'm not sure Fisher is focused on the W more than the performance. And if he is saying Goff is ready that's an indicator that if QB play isn't good Goff is playing. I suspect he will see some playing time though even if he isn't the starter. That's your best post this year. Thoby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for restoring sanity to this thread. You read some stuff in this thread that twists things around better than a high priced lawyer defending a guilty thief who was caught on video robbing the bank.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
No mention of Austin. Talked about Donald. And the Rex crap. Nothing new. Talked about Rams not running cover 2 like Clayton and others have intimated. Said they're running their same D. Biggest thing was Goff is ready to play now if they need him but they're sticking with Case cause it's working.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I expect to see Goff one way or another play this year. What if we need him to produce and he stinks it up on the field? That would be 1000 times worse than GRob stinking it up. Which he's been doing. My point in bringing this up is that as long as Goff plays well this year, I'm happy. The playoffs are icing on the cake.by max - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteSo add up the surprisingly strong win/loss start and the fact that this offense is still putting itself together, and you can see why the Rams don't feel any rush to get Goff in there. It's entirely possible he's as ready as Wentz is. But the Bradford trade gave the Eagles a reason to elevate Wentz, and the complexities of the Rams' under-construction offense give L.A. reason to worry aboutby max - RamsFootballFans.com

While it's conceivable that the Rams lose to Bills and beat Pats, it's certainly not just as likely as the other way around. Playing a road game in NE against Brady is nearly impossible to win as evidenced by their home record with Brady at QB. Then compare that to the Bill playing on the road 3000 miles away. Keenum has made throws that look strong enough, but he has a very slow release. And many times the ball comes out of his hand awkwardly and the throw is inaccurate. There's no doubt that he's a gutsy player, but there will be games when his shortcomings turn into catastrophes and other games when he will need to do more than he is capable. QuoteLesBaker If the D and ST were strong enough that it could take the Rams to the playoffs as a WC or even as the NFCW division winner with Goff on the bench are you go like that? I think the odds are low that that will happen. One of three things will most likely happen first. Keenum will lose 2 straight games, and at this point with Goff being ready, they will put Goff in.
