He's blaming Fisher for not having a winning season and my point is Fisher had to build a football team. Maybe that point slipped by you. Fisher had to fix the mess so expecting him to win based upon what he was given as a team coming in was not realistic. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
To lay 10 years of losing on Fisher is just not reasonable. The Rams were a total mess before Fisher arrived. He was tasked with building a football team almost from scratch and so was Snead. Fisher's big problem during his years as the Rams head coach has been the lack of good QB play due to the lack of good QBs. When Fisher's team starts getting consistent production out of the QB andby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
Stephen A. Smith not a Jeff Fisher fan. Stephen A. blames the last 10 years of losing for the Rams on Fisher. Well, gee, Stephen, trying and understand Fisher has not been the Rams coach the last 10 years. There was some dude name Spagnuola who was there from 2010 and 2011 and was so bad as a coach he got only about 2 years. Before him was this clown named Linehan and before that Mike Maby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com

The talking heads are just that, talking heads. They are like us in away here on this or other forums discussing the NFL or our favorite team. A great deal of what is being brought up is like watching TMZ. Nobody knows what the truth is yet. Maybe the coaches and maybe the players. I have heard Case Keenum disrespected on the airwaves here in LA by people who didn't even watch one down ofby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't imagine Huell doing that. He was a reporter not a Super Hero. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
Ok, what Crazylegs is referring to was an annual event each summer sponsored by the LA Times and was always the Rams first pre-season home game of the summer. I cannot remember the last Times Charity game but my guess is it was in the late 1970s as the Rams left the Coliseum in 1979. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
A league that lasted from 1946 to 1949. They were dreamed up the year the Rams moved to LA and were not considered a major professional football league. They were not an established league like the NFL which had been around decades already. Hard to recognize a league that last 3 seasons as major league but if want to dispute that go ahead. The NFL actually absorbed three of the AAFC teamsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
First off Florida Ram, I've been watching Rams and NFL football since 1966. I'm 60 years old now. I'm probably 30 years older then Bucky. Nobody needs to clue me in onto the prat falls a rookie QB faces. I've seen this story over and over again. I was there Opening of Camp and the following day. I was there on Saturday at the Coliseum. It was a great sports weekend in LA. No matter how you look at it this was a historical weekend. If he were still alive Huell Howser would have been at the Coliseum just to take it all in and then show it to us on public television. He may have started his show by looking into the camera as he often did and saying........... "Welcome to our show tonight. Sit back and be prepared to wby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
and this one takes the cake. Not sure what you were watching during Pace's career but this guy may be the best left tackle to play the game and I am serious about that statement. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher raves about Goff after Family Day practice I am bit surprised at Sam Farmer's article. Normally Farmer is a bit more conservative in his opinions then that. But, Fisher was very much heaping praise on Goff after this last Saturday's scrimmage at the Coliseum. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't recall seeing Duke drop five passes on Sunday and I did watch the scrimmages there live and in person. He was very very good on the last drive of the day with Goff throwing to him and in fact caught a nice TD. I know the veteran defensive backs have taken notice of him and are very complimentary. Have to say, rookie of the year on this squad may be Tyler Higbee. You can see already he is the best TE on the squad. Then comes Hemmingway and Cunningham. Not sure Kendricks makes this team. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
Duke Willams of Auburn and Paul Mc Roberts of Southeast Missouri State. Don't count these guys out. Both these big receivers have been impressive in camp. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
But I'm not sure Brian Quick will. Not with how fast Duke Williams and Paul Mc Roberts have come along. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
Duke Williams may be the star of the training camp at wide receiver. He's been playing with the 1st team. That ought to tell you what the coaches think of him. Nelson Spruce is having a good camp. Some of you here may recognize the fellow wearing number 29. He's known here as Rampagey2k. The other fellow is Mr. Tom Bateman. I was at camp last Saturday and Sunday and frankly Goff is not doing horrible and to say he's no where near ready, well, I'll leave that up to Jeff Fisher and his coaches. Bucky in the pre-draft shows was adamant about the Rams drafting Goff. He said Goff was the only correct choice etc. Not sure what Brooks was thinking at the time but if he was expecting a rookie to step in and be Joe Mby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
Television play by play is much different then radio. He's going to have to paint a picture for those listening and that TV stuff isn't going to fly. He sounds too much like every other TV play by play. Hopefully he'll get better. Gritsby GreatRamNTheSky - RamsFootballFans.com
