It has become such a major expense that by the time you travel to a game buy your food and pay for your tickets for your family you have spent a thousand dollars or more. I try to attend one professional baseball or football game a year and consider that my vacation. It is a game that only wealthy people can afford to attend, working class people are left out. I know it had to have something to do with money because it was sure not a lack of production on his part. All these GM's lie to different degrees when it comes to dealing with the press and Stafford held firm but slowly leaked out what was happening or so it appears. He was probably a little pissed. GM's want to give player these huge contracts with a ton of the money to come later in the contract and then after a few years want to redo them.
