This may be a hot take, but I'm not that high on them signing him. I understand how good he is, but the Rams always look at the transactions with 1 or 2 years down the road in consideration. I think they hoped to re-sign VM and OBJ when they obtained them, but I think they were more than prepared to lose them. While losing Woods hurts and I'm less optimistic about OBJ re-signing before he is healby JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
The script will change on you real quick if you don't take care of your mega stars. As stated above, AD can easily retire. He can hold out. He can demand a trade. Take care of AD. The Rams have already established a culture and reputation that this organization is different. They take care of their players (for the most part) even when they part ways. An extension may not go much further in yeby JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
We're looking elsewhere, but we want you to think we are serious about signing him so you get off our backs about signing him. That's my opinion. It's silly to think the Rams need to go through more film on a guy they have been seeing 2 x's a year to see if he's a fit. The FO have shown their blueprint for us since McVay came on. The blueprint finalliy paid off. I think they've earned the bby JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
Robinson is a top 15-20 WR and will allow the Rams to start the season without a hitch.by JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
the Rams had some sense of reassurance AD's return was not contingent upon VM coming back. If they felt AD's return was strongliy tied to VM, I can't see them letting VM go in any condition. Just thinking and digesting all this news!by JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
Not saying I would like to see him cut or deserves to, but it would be difficult to keep all these WRs with their price tag, extend Kupp/Stafford/AD, and fill other needs. What the Rams have shown is that they can win the SB without Woods. Hope I'm wrong and the FO prove themselves to be cap wizards!by JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
As I mentioned in another thread, I realliy see the AR signing as an insurance for RW & OBJ than a closed door on either. I expected the Rams to eventually part ways with RW, but when OBJ got hurt, I assumed RW was safe for next season. Now that both are recovering, the Rams made a bold move in getting another high end WR to pair with Kupp who can stretch the field. In 2 years, I don't forby JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this says more about Woods than Jefferson. I can see them cutting times with Robert Woods, especialliy if Jefferson can remain a cheaper alternative.by JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
It seems like he can't help himself. Tutu over other glaring needs. Robinson over a Edge rusher, CB, ILB? What this tells me: 1. Less confident about Woods & OBJ. I thought Woods was a matter of time before the injury, but I think the Rams are looking at 2 years from now. Kupp, Robinson, and potentially Jefferson. OBJ may be 50/50 to return healthy. 2. Rams may be more confident in rby JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
Von's value isn't just on the field but influence off the field - particularly with Aaron Donald. His return is not a given. On the field, he was more than solid vs. the run and proved he can still beat anyone one on one. If AD can return w/o VM, than I'm sure they can find a replacement. I'm just not convinced AD is coming back without him. Hope I'm wrong.by JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, it's good to be back in the HERD (what was once referred to as the HERD)! I haven't been here in some years and I regret missing out on a lot of great discussions. I recognize some names here, but most of you either don't remember me or don't care! Anyways, I look forward to being back in the fold (pun intended) and will try and engage in some of the discussions. I'm here in LA, and waby JAH_Warrior - RamsFootballFans.com
