Agree, Also we could have gotten a vet center, a solid NT, and a depth ILB for what we paid Jonah Jackson....when we already had two stud guards.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Really would like to see a good vet ILB added.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Athletic but lunges a lot and just ok ball awareness. Seems more a 4th-5th to me.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Mack will likely be released today and we can get him for about half that number I bet. I think that is the plan.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Coleman and Thomas are normal year top-10 to me and will be great value where they are projected. Others, in my (mostly SEC) limited opinion: -McConkey: everything you want but his lanky build and history seems like someone that will be constantly dinged -Pearsall: Sleeper, underutilized on mediocre teams -Legette: physical specimen but upper body is quite stiff. Some may see AJ Brown butby farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Burns will assuredly be franchised but looks like a pretty good FA class for both edge and CB. Would be awesome to get guys at those two spots before the draft. My biggest question is will they restructure any of the big 3 to maximize this next 2 year window.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Van Noy with his versatility to play inside might be a good vet for leadership. I would wait on a better corner to hit the market though.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
I liked him as a backup with a later pick but looking at the run on QBs it ended up being the right now. He can be as good as Mayfield who most everyone wanted to be resigned.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Tied Levis for highest MPH on a throw which was surprising.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Jourdan really has become just a PR person at this point. They like the pick they just made!!by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
For sure. Or Maye. It willl be tough watching watching 3 HOFers in their prime (or near) languish next year and probably the next. The window could have been longer with better decision making. I wish I had more confidence in Snead to rebuild this roster.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
We may have the oldest rookie class of all time. I like him as a pick and backup but one of the end of the 5th picks would have been much much better.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
McShay is a Richmond guy and he was surprised to see him go there.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Lukewarm on the pick value but happy to see them get away from tall and small inside. Always thought Edwards was a RT and Boom was bad inside.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
There were zero locker room issues or any unflattering rumors about him here in his two years that I heard.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Levis' lack of touch has been a little overstated, tends to just use his arm on shorter throws, that footwork will improve. His biggest weakness is pocket awareness, does not feel the rush very well. You really have to throw this year out for him. He had a dislocated toe, a terrible line, and an OC that ended up getting fired after one year. He is very smart and can run. Hooker looksby farley - RamsFootballFans.com
After extending of course.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Me too mainly because I think we will be picking top 5-7 next year in a good QB year.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
It seems to me that the best value at 36 will be edge combined with the most impactful position aspect. Hoping for McDonald but should be good options. I like the CBs mocked in the 3rd more than the ones mocked in the 36 range. TEs, safeties and interior OL can be found later. WR is the wildcard.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
The offense can certainly be top 10 but I cannot find an avenue where the defense is not in the bottom 4-5 in the league.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Seems pretty pointless, highly doubt you would get a pick any better than the comp pick for him leaving... and not much cap savings.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Really hard to grade him on last year. That line of awful. You could tell he was too aware of the rush and his toe issue kept him from running much like he did the year before. Pocket awareness and feel are my biggest questions for him. He has all the physical tools and character to succeed.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
The weird thing for me after watching him a bunch is that he was targeted a lot. UK defense showed well without much of a rush this year. He is aggressive for sure but not great ball skills. One of the late 5ths would be great value.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Great job. CRod cleaned up his fumbling this year but he also ran a 4.52 on thur at the pro day so he likely moved up a round or two.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought the Bucs were more strapped than us.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Great stuff as usual. I really like Hooker but don't think he gets out of the 2nd round. My biggest concern is the very unique fast offense that Heupal runs. How long will it take him to adjust to making for decisions at the next level. I probably do differ with you a little on his running ability. Fast not nearly as tough or elusive as Lamar.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Just looking at the numbers and the amount of guys under contract on the OL it would not be surprised if they roll the dice there. Maybe use one of the 5ths on someone they can develop. Considering we are not ever hearing of them looking at FA players they will probably wait until after the draft and hope some serviceable guys are out there to fill the roster at certain positions. QB will assuredby farley - RamsFootballFans.com
Have to find a good edge and a good CB to even be mediocre. As for stopgaps I have wondered if a position move would help maximize a couple of these guys. Could Hardy play inside? Build looks like it would hold up. Could Kendrick's lack of speed but good size make him a safety.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
I see Durant as a slot guy and I wonder if Kendrick should be moved to safety due to his lack of speed.by farley - RamsFootballFans.com
