Can you put those horns on a helmet with your computer program? The horns that are between Dickerson and Ferragamo on that old school Rams logo. The 1951 gold type on the logo history list. I still don't know why the Rams don't do that style of horn on the helmet....I think that would look great.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
The bone is different......I think the Rams were trying to bring in the "soccer fanbase" with the look of bone and the glossy numbers on the jersey's. Nowadays the teams have so many combinations of uniforms, unlike the simple 2 combo home and away uni's of the past.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
It was when McVay was in Washington. The TE said, "I learned more about playing TE with McVay than I ever had for the entire time I have played football in my life. He said coach McVay tells me WHY we do it this way. WHY this is successful. Most coaches say it's the way we do it here, just do it." McVay is special.....I knew it the day the Rams hired him.....I listened to a lot ofby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams won when they wore the Bone Uni's. I don't know....But, I like the way the Rams uni's light up on the TV. I have had a lot of fans from other teams say the same thing. They like the horns on the helmet and the "pop" of the Uni's!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He's gonna be moved around to get pressure as Verse and Young press pressure from the outside. I'm really liking the McVay/Shula approach to the defense. There will be times when we sit back and play bend don't break defense, but I'm also liking what we saw last year with the blitz and getting to the QB from multiple angles. Shula is not afraid to get to the QB. The additions in the draft aby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe he just tried too hard and the bottom fell out from underneath him. The coaches start yelling, then it's all downhill from there. I mean, it's the NFL not college. Everyone on this board has had a job in their life that just didn't "fit" what they needed to be 100% on it! There's also a million reasons why it was not a fit. Bam!!!!! You kind of sneak out the backdoor and beby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe Forbes is one of them? One thing I do know, players don't forget how to play ball. Forbes goes to a team, struggles the first year like most players do for a while, but instead of coaching, the coaches just keep yelling, then he goes deeper and deeper into the tank! Rams coaches TEACH THE GAME......They don't yell and scream at the players....Even Davante Adams has said, "I'm rejby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's get Hawaii in blue and gold!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
It's gonna be a fun filled camp in Hawaii that's for sure. I'm interested in what McVay has for some new wrinkles in his offense. Shula should be quite pleased with his additions to the defense as well. Let's keep that Aloha Spirit and enjoy the fact that our Rams look like they have a very solid team.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Bless you guys and your families.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That's for sure Hahahahaha.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That's for sure! McVay has taken this franchise and turned it into a well oiled machine! Let's enjoy this!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I was spoiled with camp at UCI, only 5 minutes from my home. That drive north is going to be a monster, but I'll make a couple trips up with my brother for sure.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
From the Rams Draft Day homes and headquarters, to going to Hawaii for camp. Leaving UCI for training camp and building a professional facility in Woodland Hills. There's a lot of work in being an NFL player, it's not easy. But, the Rams make it fun....The culture of "WE NOT ME" has grown each year into a winning environment. Sure, the players have very high expectations. Theyby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He's going to have one heck of a season this year!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
It's not me.....I don't know how to do all that computer stuff....Hahahaha. It's nice to be born in 1964, we had it much better back then.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
It was a beautiful sunny day in SoCal so my wife and I decided to drive up PCH and go for a scenic Sunday drive. Long story short, we ended up in Malibu for a bite to eat. I see this man wearing all white sweats, sunglasses and a dog. I told my wife, "That's Stan Kroenke, the owner of the Rams." I was wearing my Rams T-Shirt, walked up to him and pointed to my shirt, he smiled and aby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Big 3 are Adams, Nakua and Whittington. Maybe even spread out Ferguson wide and see what he can do against smaller corners. Sprinkle in Tutu and the other wr's, but let's see what McVay does with Tutu because he's either going to make a bigger impact or he's going to be relegated to the bench. We'll see what happens.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think Tutu sits.....I think he'll get much more playing time this year than he has ever had before. It's a long 17 game season and McVay has said that " he has underused Tutu". To me, that means there will definitely be offensive packages that will have Tutu getting the ball. I think McVay will bring back more misdirection and jet sweeps to get Tutu the ball. He's mentionby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That's #1 for sure.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I love these updates and fans perspectives. Watching film, I see what you see in Hamilton. Plus, playing for the Buckeyes he's playing against the best of the best. I think the Rams love the idea of adding Championship Players with their existing roster, this guy is gonna be a solid addition to our DL.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That was a very enjoyable read. I agree, today is for reflection and honor of the men and women who made this country the best in the world. I can't say it any better than you have. Let's remember to reflect and pray for all those that have died for our great country, and remember the people with pride and respect for serving our country. There's no greater honor IMHO.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I think on most teams, Whittington would be playing every snap and possibly be a solid #2 WR. Rams have Adams and Nakua, and I really think Whittington is still #3. Tutu has "flashed" and has had some big catches the last 2 seasons, but I think Whittington gets the nod ahead of Tutu.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been saying this about Adams/Kupp and I'm still bummed that Kupp is not a Ram. BUUUUUUUT, Adams is going to be better than Kupp.....I still think Whittington is the reason Kupp is gone because they are very similar in size and Whittington is a cheaper version of Kupp for salary. Stafford is going to force the defense to cover every blade of grass this season.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Ramsey would be just fine with me if he comes in for a Rams "nice" friendly salary. The one thing I like about Ramsey is that he can still take the other teams #1 WR one on one.....It's hard to find a CB with size that can do that. I also like some more depth to the secondary.....It's a LOOOOOONG grueling 17 games season, plus playoffs.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Then, the Rams have him on the 5 year rookie salary scale.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Basically, there's really no better way to control fans taking over a stadium than just "beating them". Then, you get to enjoy the walk of shame as you watch them leave, with a LOSS! Best times were watching Cowboy Fans leave Anaheim Stadium as Dickerson runs through them with over 200 yds rushing, then watching SF Fans leave Sofi as the red wave left after losing to our Rams in theby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay has the boys ready to play. He's just one heck of a HC.....He's a leader.....He's a great motivator.....Above all, he's not afraid to make tough decisions because it's all about "WE NOT ME!" The team comes first when there are decisions to make.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Good one gator....LOL!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
No doubt......McVay will want a QB to learn the offense forwards and backwards before he takes the helm of the teams QB. Funny thing is that it may not be a trade for a QB in the draft. It could be trading picks to a team and getting a Veteran QB. We all know McVay won't stand for rookie mistakes so he might be inclined to getting a QB with NFL experience. Remember, teams move off QB's if theyby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
