I think Wolford is going to impress in a huge way tomorrow. He doesn't have the arm that Goff has, but I believe he will read defenses and go through his progressions much faster than Goff. You will see more medium length passes in the 10-20 yard range, likely because of his scrambling ability to buy time. Fell in love with the uniforms, and then watching linebackers try to tackle Roman Gabriel was a blast. The biggest player on the team was Merlin Olson at 270 lbs. Back then it was real weight without the supplements.by curt7 - RamsFootballFans.com

I wasn't happy with his hiring, and the special teams play has proven he's a liability. If I were McVay, I would release him today and make Johnny Hekker the interim special teams coach (keeping his normal punting duties, of course). Hekker would inspire these guys, and I bet he could coordinate a wedge of blockers we haven't seen all year. We know Bona is out at season end, but why wait?by curt7 - RamsFootballFans.com

3rd and long is like kryptonite to the Rams. They seem to play in zone coverage with a huge hole right down the middle. I figure the success rate for opposing offenses must be around 80% or better. Wade couldn't fix it, Staley hasn't fixed it, and it's getting embarrassing as a Rams fan.by curt7 - RamsFootballFans.com

Experts say a vaccine is required to really ward off this virus, and that won't be available until early next year at the earliest. In the meantime, I don't see any possible way that players enclosed in a locker room, before and after practice, won't contribute to spreading the disease. Maybe I'm still dealing with some pain from the SB loss, but I don't see a marked improvement from the team thus far. They've added Weddle and Matthews, but I don't think Matthews is going to add much. On top of that, the rest of the division looks improved, and I think we'll probably split games with at least two of them. He took the regular season off, then decided to come alive during the playoffs. Who would commit to that? Actually, only a performance filled contract with goals that must be reached is the only way I'd resign him. As someone who's been a Ram fan since 1968, you would think I'd be feeling really good about this Super Bowl. Unfortunately, I just can't get there. The Patriots strengths are pitted against our major weakness (Run game vs run defense). Super Bowl experience vs inexperience, penalties called and uncalled, turnovers, etc...all will play a big part in this game. The only advantage I see for theby curt7 - RamsFootballFans.com

Cooks has a habit of lowering his head before contact, putting him in danger of concussions. At his size though, if he doesn't lower his head he'll get sent flying by any db with some momentum. He needs to do what Isaac Bruce did, make the catch, get what yards you can, then go down. Cooks has now had two concussions in less than a year, and if he gets another his career could be threatened.by curt7 - RamsFootballFans.com
