I wasn't happy with his hiring, and the special teams play has proven he's a liability. If I were McVay, I would release him today and make Johnny Hekker the interim special teams coach (keeping his normal punting duties, of course). Hekker would inspire these guys, and I bet he could coordinate a wedge of blockers we haven't seen all year. We know Bona is out at season end, but why wait?
