QuoteSpeed_Kills the Rams are counting on Gaines. Hope he can go tomorrow I kinda doubt that Fisher will take much of a chance with Gaines vs Chiefs now, Speed. Stakes are just too high. But the good news is that we have a handful of promising youngsters at CB to take a look at. A word about the 2 botched snaps by Kush. WTH? Just when I thought that our backup C was done deal. QuoteSpeed_Kills c'mon Sag - you know I don't need an explanation regarding speed and quickness This guy is a Ricky Prohel...that's his ceiling. He is yet another 3rd or 4th WR... and I mean maybe next year Well, Speed, Spruce has the best hands the Rams have seen since..... I don't know when. QuoteSoCalRAMatic Just because he didn't mention BQ doesn't mean he's off the roster. Coaches say all kinds of stuff to motivate players. IMO Spruce has a spot. I think Marquez has a spot because he's good at ST and seemed to catch the balls thrown his way in limited play last year. That leaves BQ, MT, DW, Hill and others fighting for a 6th or seventh spot. Memo to the Rams: Before you give Jeff Fisher that extension, make him earn it first By Bill Reiter 4h ago • 4 min read LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Rams coach Jeff Fisher is a lot of things. He's an intense, engaging, interesting presence on "Hard Knocks." He's good at peppering his speech with F-bombs, and then, charmingly, he let us know his mother was quite disappointed in hisby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here's 49RH8R... i watched the rams practice in irvine today and here is some of what i saw. i'll admit i was mostly watching the offense because that's where the problems are. *all 3 qb's looked great and each one of them made some beautiful throws. i may be overly optimistic but i think qb is now a position of strength. *the wr corps still had a lot of dropped balls and i think we'by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Just some food for thought based upon Fisher's last presser. Here's Ram_Rally... Hope this hasn't come up in another discussion already but fisher said this yesterday when asked about the receiver depth chart: "It’s wide open. Obviously our top guys are (WR) Kenny (Britt) and (WR) Tavon (Austin) and ‘Coop’ (WR Pharoh Cooper). Once we get past that, it’s wide open. It’s going to beby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteleafnose he's had some great games in college. he lacks prototypical tools he's going to get a chance for redemption tomorrow. With the ones due to play just a bit longer I presume that he'll see his first action somewhere deep in the first half if lucky. If not? He will absolutely make the 53, Rock. Not only that, I'm sure that he will be a significant contributor this season. Another Snead UDFA gem. And probably one of his best ever.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Ram usage of excessive f-bombs raises a question for me. Was it the same on Hard Knocks when they visited other teams? I don't know because I've never watched it before. Perhaps this is the new normal for NFL teams? I dunno.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci (Hill and Marquez are both second years ... Hill was with the Eagles last year and I drafted him in my deep dynasty league) Besides Austin and Britt Quick Spruce Cooper Duke I think Thomas' drops may shake him mentally and Duke will take the advantage. I love Thomas though, so that's hard for me to say and I'm rooting for being wrong. Thanks for the reply, Aby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice breakdown and explanations, Alyo. But you mixed Marquez in with the true rookies. I think Austin Hill is a rookie, but I'm not sure. Anyway, why don't we take it a step further? Get your projection for the 6 finalists, I mean. I assume you agree that Britt and Austin are locks. Care to project the next four?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here's LAChamp46... 8/17 I arrived to a clear, sunny and a very hot camp day to see defenders rotating through a turnover drill. The DB’s, LB’s and DL’s try to rip a football loose from various teammates. Greg Williams barking out commands. Quote9er8er Who GRob's career is trending towards. He's been terrible and now he comes off a bad sophomore season leading all offensive players in the NFL in penalties by showing up overweight and out of shape. This is a player who already lacks the technique and discipline to be a good blindside protector. The writing is on the wall with this guy. Yes, how could I forget Jason Smith?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Bust, 9er8er? We've both seen Ram busts. GRob is not a bust, although a bit of a disappointment in his first 2 years would be fair. You want Ram busts? Pead Rok Watkins Barrett Jones Tre Mason (after rookie season) Brian Quick Want even bigger busts? The Ram archives are loaded with them if you care to look. Enough to boggle the mind. Tyler Higbee's hard work at Rams camp is earning high praise Aug. 16, 2016 Updated 9:52 p.m. By RICH HAMMOND / STAFF WRITER IRVINE – Perhaps the most important praise, for the Rams and their rookie tight end Tyler Higbee, came from offensive coordinator Rob Boras, who ran across the field Tuesday to issue loud praise. “Good job, Tyler!” Boras said of the jumbo rookie, who had made nby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLMU93 I think overall you're right. Most likely they yield 2-3 starters from this class, which would be great... Goff, Higbee, and either Cooper or Spruce. I just think the league has evolved and teams have more than 22 'starters' now. More like 27-28. To me a 3rd WR, nickel CB, 3rd DE, etc. are 'starters.' If you're playing more than 30 snaps per game from scrimmage you're a starter. Nby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
