QuoteJimYoungblood53 Quotemax Collingsworth just said Jared Goff has been unbelievable. But I’m sure if he beats the Niners next week, there will still be guys here saying Goff isn’t any good. They cannot be happy for the guy. He was good. They blitzed him and he beat it. Took some checkdowns, but hit some chunk plays in the middle. Nothing wrong with thinking he is good, but Stafford aby max - RamsFootballFans.com

Yup. Those are always head scratchers. Hes tries to do more than he is physically capable of doing. But for the most part the Lions have Goff playing to his strengths and keep him away from his weaknesses. And that’s enough to win a SB, with a great supporting cast. I think the Lions tightened up when the Rams made the game close. They’ve been losers for so long, and there was a ton of prby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Purdy. Purdy reminds me of Pat Haden. Maybe a bit taller, but essentially the same guy. Good head for the game, can make accurate throws when conditions are perfect, but he’s small framed, weak arm, and not fast, but mobile. Guys like that usually get exposed in the playoffs. Goff is better than Purdy. Much better arm talent and much taller to see over his OL. And Goff haters are right toby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Ha. Did not know that. Goff is better than Purdy. I like the Lions to beat Niners. The key discriminator is QB.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
But he’s not the special talent the media makes him out to be. He should have had 2 picks, which would have lost the game. His shortcomings are size, and arm talent. He can move around in the pocket, but he’s not fast. Actually, he reminds me of Pat Haden. He may be a little taller.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
The Lions have the best shot at beating the Niners in the NFC. I have no problem with the Lions playing dirty against the Niners. I'm totally fine with them biting off Niner knee caps or whatever their coach likes to do. So I'm rooting for the Lions to win this week and then turn their headhunters loose on SF.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
You’re right, it’s a football game, it’s not a dignified event. It’s full of low life @#$%& of the earth people. Everyone should incivility in that forum. What happened in Detroit just drives that point home. So yes, don’t take your kids to a football game if you don’t want them to get verbally abuse. Just like don’t throw them in a pig sty if you don’t want them to get dirty. What I find morby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Yup. Another bad contract by our guys.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Prescott is as overrated as Goff is underrated. People fall in love with the athletic QB who can make a wow off schedule play, and seem to always overlook the fatal flaws. Inconsistency and lack of mental toughness and acuity. I’ll take Goff any day of the week over Prescott, especially in a big game.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Certainly, McVay is elite. He is recognized as elite by every professional football person out there. Only people questioning it are hot headed fans who think they know more than professionals.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay kicked Goff to the curb. And it hurt Goff. Goff was broken emotionally by McVay's treatment. He said Campbell built him back up. And it’s noticeable to anyone with an open mind. He still has the same inherent weaknesses, you pressure him and you can’t knock the ball out of his hands easier than most QBs. But he no longer is making those off the wall head scratching dumb throws across the fiby max - RamsFootballFans.com
He can’t run anymore. And he was pretty much average at his best. Nice guy, team leader, but now overpaid and not worth much on the field.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Lions have more talent. Goff is not the same guy he was 3 years ago. He has flaws, we all know them. But choking late in the game isnby max - RamsFootballFans.com
There isn't a QB in the NFC who would be better for us in these playoff than Stafford. Ask yourself, who would you rather have under center in these playoff, Stafford, Dak, Purdy, Goff, Baker, Love, or Hurts?by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Allen makes 2nd team all pro with 29 TD and 18 INT In 2021, Stafford had 41 TD and 17 INT, and was labeled a turnover machine with no all pro awards.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM I've got many NON-Ram fan friends asking me about it.... and frankly, I really haven't given it much thought. sure I'm aware of it.... but it's a playoff game vs the Lions for me....the head to head Stafford vs Goff thing is superflouous for me... .or at least for the most part. I get the appeal... it IS a story... but that's about it for me. Kind of like SoFi vs Ford Field.... peby max - RamsFootballFans.com
I know some posters don’t think much of McVay, at least one guy here wanted McVay dumped. But I firmly believe McVay will be in the HOF one day. He’s an all time great. Without him, we’re just another losing organization.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I’ll be surprised if it’s not Rams Lions. It’s an amazing storyline that the NFL will do everything in their power to make happen.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone who said stuff like “I’m done with McVay” and already had another coach as their preference was talking nonsense. It’s called over emotional craziness by amateur living room couch GMs.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Rodgers got to 1 SB with all those really good Packers teams. He repeatedly had HFA in the playoffs and stunk in the 4th quarter. Most recently, he had HFA against Niners in 2021, and choked in the red zone at end of game. He’s always been too afraid to throw a pick. He pads his stats, and chokes in big games when he has to show some guts. In a big game with when you need a guy with iby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Look at 4th comebacks / winning drives. Thats what’s important, not passing stats. It’s wins that count. And Rodgers is historically bad at 4th quarter winning drives. Stafford is 6th all time Rodgers is 28th.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
My qualifier on my argument is McVay. I maintain that if Stafford was with McVay like Brady was with Belichick then we’d have seen a much more consistent Stafford. McVay pushes consistently as the ultimate in importance. Look at Rodgers 4th Quarter performance. It’s nowhere near as good as Stafford’s. IMO, Stafford would have been better than Rodgers or Favre, if he was with McVay hisby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Several factors contribute to Stafford being the most underrated QB ever. He played the majority of his career, when he was in his prime physically, with a disaster organization in a small market. He doesn't wow anyone with his running ability, he's a pure drop back QB like Marino, PManning and Brady. He hasn't won enough, and no one cares that he hasn't had the same situation as those oby max - RamsFootballFans.com
If we can’t beat them when we have our football lives on the line and they don’t, then why bother with the playoffs. I say bring on those MFs. I don’t expect to go far in the playoffs having to win 3 straight road games anyway. So let’s at least kick the Niners asses and make a statement.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 Arizona bad as Giants Id rather play Pittsburg than SF....unless they rest starters which it looks like Big Whit said he thinks its gonna be Rams and Seahawks in when all is said and done. He believes we'll beat Niners. He also said the Niners will be taking a big risk if they play their starters in what will be a very physical game.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Their QBs will get totally embarrassed in the playoffs.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is where we are now… If we win out we’re in. If we split our last 2 games we’re in if: 1. Seattle loses a game. 2. Seattle wins out AND Packers beat Vikings and lose to Bears. Or Vikings beat Packers and lose to Lions.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
