Quoteroman18 Our 1st string got it handed to them......the players who won that game ....some of them will be lucky to make the team...some will go to practice squad.....very few will make the real roster...IMO. “The 1st string got it handed to them.” Problem is, that’s not true. The 1st string D gave up 7 points; the 1st starting offense led by Keenum scored 7 points. Go watch the tape. Tby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Quotedzrams QuoteRams43 Well... In the spirit that we're all agreed that this is clearly premature and that this is just for a fun exercise, I will play. And I'm gonna use candidate play vs Cowboys for any tiebreakers. I have the following different takes... DB. I would include Bryant at S. And Sensabaugh might be vulnerable at CB based on that Cowboy game. Probably not,by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 QuoteRockRam Going by his history with the Rams, I think what we'll see is: DBs 10 Gaines, Hill, Roberson, Tru J, Joyner, Alexander, McDonald, Davis, Sensebaugh, ? LBs 6 Forest, Hagen, Lynch, Akers, Ogletree, Barron DLs 8 Longacre, Westbrooks, Sims, Hayes, Thomas, Brockers, Donald, Quinn QBs 3 Goff, Keenum, Mannionby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
I wonder if CD has moved ahead of Alexander for the starting FS spot. Thomas is going to get cut.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
I don’t believe the Fisher Rams have ever carried only 8 DL. That alone makes it unlikely. That said, there is no way to go by history because every year there is fluctuation in the number per position depending on the talent they have on hand. One year recently he carried 11 OL; another year 5 LBs. Other years he has had 5 WRs and 5 RBs. The only positions that have had the same numbersby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 I haven't done the roster numbers recently but I think they'll keep 9 DL. If Longacre keeps it up he's in and could be an heir to Sims eventually. I think we'll see more from Easley and between him and Coples he's more likely to stick in my opinion. That kind of interior pass rush ability isn't common. He could really thrive as a rotation guy on passing downs. If Easley is healthby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Warm up those jugs machines! Antonio Brown takes 130 passes from the Steeler juggs machine after EACH practice. Torry Holt wore those machines out. If THOSE WR's thought the juggs machines would help their game, then what's keeping our WR's from doing it? Who said our WR's aren't using the jugs machines?by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM There would be this: Fisher has a lot to gain by NOT starting Goff, and I mean this entire year. I'm confident everyone on this board can deduce what I'm getting at without me spelling it out. Fisher can assure himself of a new contract... just don't start Goff. - JamesJM P.S. I'm NOT saying he would do that, and in fact don't think he would. I believe has already gained aby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Quotereggae Quick is a lock and likely 3rd overall on the depth chart. At least for this year.Williams will probably make the practice squad. Maybe the roster next year. The battle is Spruce and Marquez for the slot. And I think ties should go to the rookies. This sounds like you talking, not Fisher. I'm pretty sure Fisher's motto would be ties go to the vets who have been with hiby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

Quote9er8er QuoteRams43 Based on most camp reports I've seen, including this one by Merlin, it sounds like we did very well on O this offseason. VERY well. Goff (just a matter of time) Groh (sounds like he's working wonders on the fundamentals of his WR's) Higbee (a steal) Cooper (possible steal) Thomas (another possible steal) To that we can add the following: Tavon sounds like he'sby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
The defense is already under pressure to play at a top ten level out of the gate no matter who the QB is. And frankly, it needs to anyway; it's the mature, developed unit that is supposed to carry the team. And not sure why you would project 0-4 for Keenum when last year he was 3-2 or something like that. He can win a few games. That said, Brooks' pronouncement is too early. Let's wait unby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you on your first statement. Keenum stays through 2016 for sure. But I bet they would love to get a pick after the season. And I suspect their preference is for Mannion to take over the #2 duties. If he does Keenum would no longer be necessary.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm interested in hearing about every player and position on the offense. And that would include vets like Britt, Austin, and Quick. So far most reports focus on the newcomers. On D, the FS position mostly. Quinn and Gaines' health. And most importantly, any standout players no matter what position or side of the ball.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Enter TA. And a better QB in Goff. Hopefully Austin has improved his route running enough to be a deep threat. Hopefully Goff starts right away bc Keenum couldn't get him the ball even if he was a great deep threat.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
The 10 TDs, his value as a decoy, his involvement in the vast majority of Rams explosive plays, and his remaining untapped potential are why he’s worth $12 mil. The Rams are paying him $12 mil. so clearly there are professionals on planet earth who think he’s worth that much at least for this year.
