Was this Snead pulling rank on the young head coach, or did Wade want Tru for his defense and felt he was a mustby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Saffold too.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
If they franchise Tru there going to need to cut a whole lot of players to get enough money to do anything in FA. Hearing anywhere from 35/40 million and with the tag at 16 that's nearly half the cap space for one player. Need WR and 2 Oline to get this offense a chance to be productive, imo. McVay and Snead have their work cut out for themselves.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Kupp falling to rd. 3 is crazy. And like the idea of Rogers on the rams. One thing about the Rams being back in California, they can get a lot of UDFA from the area .by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Would love to get Garcon. With Britt likely gone he would br great for this team. Wouldn't mind Stills or woods too.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not this year, close to 12 million in dead money. But with his lack of production unless he plays out of his mind this year, he won't be a Ram next year.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
For this coming year , yes he is. Almost 15 million. Good news is this is his last year as a Ram and that's why he probably doesn't redo the deal to give them cap relief. Next year , 2018 no dead money and 8 million in cap savings. And Last year total yards were around 11oo with 4 whole TD's. Bye TA.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
After seeing the list of WRs pay I got sick to my stomach. And for him to talk about his worth. Self awareness is not his strong suit.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree. They need to get 2 good vets on this line, LT ,and Guard. (still like Whitworth for 2 years and Leary) Would move Robinson inside or trade or cut him.(unless they cut Saffold , then Robinson could move inside and still play emergency tackle). Draft one of the centers in rds 4/5/6 (could try to sign a FA center , not sure which one would be upgrade over Barnes, maybe everyone!). Thby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that's a defeatist attitude by the writer and lazy to boot. There are plenty of moves in FA and the draft to improve this teams offensive line, WR position. And in a draft deep in CBs and safeties, the Rams can fix their problems in the backend rapidly. Some of the LT FAs may be bargain bin but better than what the rams can trot out now. And for 1/2/ years can help stabilizeby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Just think that for 1 or 2 years he keeps rushers off Goff which Robinson can't seem to do and Saffold who can't stay healthy enough to.I'm open to other ideas but this Oline must be light years better than last year for the offense to succeed .by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
He was rated a top five LT just last year. You can pass all you want but he's way better than the crap the rams have on the roster right now. Depending on the cost he's an option ,imo. This team will not be better on offense until Robinson is replaced and Saffold won't make it at LT past game 4.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rather see a center in the draft and one of the LT FAs Whitworth,Clady, or Albert( how much is Whitworth getting at 35?and better than any tackle on the Rams roster right now. Leary or Wolford at guard and Garcon would be great. Maybe Woods or Stills.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, dude helped the Rams win their Super Bowl. He's right up there with all time Rams if just for that reason alone .imo.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
With Clady and Albert cut it opens up more possibilities for LT.(like Whitworth for two years and draft a LT prospect) Also heard the Texans not tagging Bouye so more competition for Tru so rams have options there.(plus deep draft for CBs). If you gave me , Garcon, Leary, Whitworth and Tru/Bouye I would be a happy camper.Clady/Albert are also options at LT, moving Grob inside or out theby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Too bad GMs don't buy PFF grading system, then we would have a better chance of landing Garcon. He would be great for this team(not sure if D. Jackson would impart as much knowledge to the WRs as Garcon, he may be just as helpful)by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Like to see Garcon and Stills here. Jackson, and Woods are possible too but feel those two would be pretty good pickups.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
A hard working young man who did it the right way. Best of luck in whatever path you choose going forward Zac. But I'm sure you won't need any luck. Great kid.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Move Mo to SS and draft / sign a ballhawking FS . Oh wait ,you mean Tru. Ok if you can get him for 10/12 million(not worth it but can't lose everyone)by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Garcon made 7.6 last year, Jackson 3.75 so think 4/6 miilion for Jackson. 6/7 million for Garcon gets it done , not 11 per.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
His contract is guaranteed, so all McVay is doing is not burning a bridge before he has his team across it. Like Les said, he has all of training camp to determine if Robinson can help this team moving forward.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
But the thing is none of the WRs have played well at all for the last 2,3,4 years so it has to be not just they suck but a failure in coaching them up.imo.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree, though he will get better with coaching. Like the West Virginia kid at center. Jon Toth from Kentucky got beat like a drum in the senior bowl. He will get better too.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed, there will be good players who get free because of salary cap problems, teams having to clear space for higher priority players and hopefully the Rams can get a couple of them that fit what McVay and Phillips feel helps the team moving forward. A guard, maybe a FS , and or a couple pass rushing 3/4 LBs. Who knows. Going to be interesting this off season watching McVay , Phillipby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Well it will all be up to McVay and Kromer when it comes to the Oline. They will keep who they like, and dump whomever they think can't play the way they expect them to. Chances are Grob is still here, not sure it's at left tackle though.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Whie I will agree with the basic premise of Goff not ready for live fire, you have to admit that the teams the Rams were playing were bringing it on every play and it seemed to me they were back there with Jared when he was setting his feet.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Just the fact that McVay will put the skill guys in position to make positive plays will be an improvement. The key will be on whom they keep on the line and where they go for improvement, Draft or FA. Center, a LOT , and guard would be my guess unless Kromer lies these guys . A good LT would allow Saffold to stay at guard, and a stud center would make Brown, Wichman, and Robinson betby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
It never slowed down for him because he was under pressure from snap one. Worst line play in a long time from these guys and they never improved at all . He had some good throws in all that mess and I am willing to bet with McVay He will be in position to make many more plays this coming year. Will help to have an offense that will be unpredictable and use the offensive guys in plby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a lazy reporter feeding into the Goff may be a bust narrative . Cole is crap, and this says more about the WRs deciding to not give a crap during another losing season. Not one of them can look you in the eye and say they gave it their all(of course if any one of them could that would be really sad if that was the best they could do. While Britt is not a #1 he did have a decent seby bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not showing up looks bad on the WRs, considering how absolutely horrific they are at um, actually playing their position. Every last one , save the rookies, need to be shown the door. Just another clue to the lack of professionalism this team showed all last year.by bigjimram21 - RamsFootballFans.com
