Yeah that's pretty solid. I have my specific alterations but that looks like the standard composite I'm seeingby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I do by position ... Then the day before the draft I'll post my top 2 rounds which ends up being around 85 players as I'm friendly in my grades (I assume each player gets drafted by the right team)...by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Biggest sleeper is Elijah Jones for me. Then MJ Devonshire and Tarheeb Still. Daquan Hardy I considered a slot safety but he's in the mix too ... Elijah Jones is tall long and fast, and somehow not being listed often among the top players. Devonshire and Still are from schools I like and they are feisty players. Pitt and Maryland make good DBs. Narduzzi is about man coverage so youby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
CB is the one I love scouting most, because top CBs can exist anywhere ... Darious Williams was undrafted ... Josh Norman was a 5th rounder. So you keep tabs on everyone ... and try to find those who will use their athleticism at the next level to improve their technique over time. For those that aren't familiar with my process, I track players through their entire college career. I do not havby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Ive done LB, DT, Edge, S ... still have to do CB, then the whole offense.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think we use mammoths ... but I am a fan of true space eaters. Keep him fresh with rotation and he's on my list ... as far as the DWI ... I'd like to know more about it ... but it's not like Rashee Rice. He's a moron.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you as always good sir.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
4 QBs 0 RBs 1 TE 5 OT 1 IL 4 WRs 4 Edges 2 DTs 4 CBs 0 S That's expectations of round 1 that I feel pretty confident in. 25 players. I doubt we take a QB but it gives an idea of where we are and how far we could drop.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Safety is one of my favorite positions, but I have reeled myself back from putting high numbers on them because they are, like LB and RB, a devalued position. They mostly end up on special teams ... so I pay more attention to the test #s (same at LB) because they may just be gunners for most of their careers. I took him off my list. His testing numbers were terrrrrrrible. Not that I liked his tape that much anyway.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
This group is always a hot commodity, but when our needs line up here I try to be extra specific. I would prefer to take two here, but I'm sure there are lots of teams wanting to double dip. I have two types, for the 4-3 and 3-4 alignments. I have some guys here that are pretty big ... but I believe they are not inside players and "could" drop in coverage here and there if called upoby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
This position has 3 types for me ... Commander, Chaser, and Special Teams. We have two types on our roster and that's been the case for many years now. Do we want to change that? Do we want two Commanders because EJ might leave? For those that aren't familiar with my process, I track players through their entire college career. I do not have access to anything beyond what announcers may say, aby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Johnson takes Williams reps ... he was 4th in PFF (kobie was 1st) against the run when he came out. I think we get splash rotational plays because he wins fast and doesn't lose often. Thr flavor though is interesting because there are multiple styles ... And some guys I have good grades on that were not at the combine. So I'd prioritize my first line pick to make sure I had tby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Newton and Murphy. Murphy is really hard to have a good rep against, and really easy to lose to. He has instinct that puts him a step ahead of most blocking schemes and his strength and center of gravity allow him to simply control dudes in the run game and work them in the pass game. I think if you want a SOLID DT he's your guy. He's just not rare in any area ... so Kris Jenkins is thby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Another year, another list of names ... For those that aren't familiar with my process, I track players through their entire college career. I do not have access to anything beyond what announcers may say, and mostly I'm watching for specific skillsets that are valuable to me. These change over time, but not by a lot. My actual process of watching film has grown and I definitely get influenceby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
That ^^ as always... I'm having issues seeing where guys are drafted more than usual. Normally the tiers have x amount of crossover but that doesn't seem true this year ... Top 25 is pretty solid ... maybe 2 surprises... Then? It's off the rails. Brooks went in the first in some mocks. For me you could wait to draft RB or safety until the 4th round. But some might be be top 50.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I play it over in my head ... Carolina marching close to the goalline and fumbles... bounces funny ... Archuleta can't get his hands on it and it goes right by him. For me, I knew it was over then.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I wanted him. He's a tough kid. He was in a rude situation. Team discarded their top edge rushers while they were still in the hunt and after almost beating the eagles ... Did him dirty IMO. I was hoping we'd make a move for him.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
The catch ... Bruce. Ridiculous throw ... perfect block. Perfect adjustment ...by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm going to say it again ... the year to draft a RB higher is next year. The quality is REALLY significantly higher. Like this draft is full of #2 RBs. Take one in the third or 5th, he's still a backup. If you take one in the second, you're reaching, in the first, you should be fired. Jonathan Brooks is likely the consensus top back ... if sophomores had declared he'd be #7 at best andby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Versus next year ... Most of the players this year were either college playoff contenders (this or previous years) or with the Heisman winner. You're not going to get that level of readiness next year. I like the kids next year okay (Burden, T McMillan, Egbuka, Bond, R Owens) but only 2 have that kind of experience.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Exactly what I see.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm doing my lists and there are a lot of talented DBs and LBs and even DTs that are going to go undrafted. We could be fine with less picks.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
