What's nice is they won't have the cap damage an Edge commands for another few years.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. I'm guessing there will be an early run on CB's. Still a couple of worthy WR's and a few OL. A decent DL hopefully falls to us. Kris Jenkins sounds right.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemtramfan Snead by himself: Hidden draft gems, trades that bolster the roster. Coaches and scouts: Valuable input, but when stuck on a player, splash and bust. McVay: Speedy little wideouts. McVay didn't draft Tavonby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Early-mid 80's I'd set the VCR in the morning, come home from high school at lunch time, fast forward through the commercials for the offical helmet phone, see the (maybe) 10 picks that were made, reset the VCR, return to school.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not the way I'd play it, but how i think it will go. Fautanu: This off seaspon has been all about the OL and not getting bullied on the line. I don't think we're committed to AJ for the long term and don't want to pay starting LT salary to him come next year. We'll take the comp pick Also, we had a private meeting with Fatanu. Jenkins: We miss that Michael Brockers/Ashawn Robinson type oby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't put much stock in these pre-draft visits. In 2023 they are reported to have met with 35 players Only one was signed/drafted: Desjuan Johnson I can't find a list for 2022. In 2021 the only visits I can find are with Tutu and Jacob Harris in 2020 Van Jefferson, Brycen Hopkins & Terrell Burgessby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I so wanted the team to draft this guy, and I was so pumped when we actually did. In my mind he was the heir to Jack Youngblood! Then dreams met reality .by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
When your QB's are Ben DiNucci & Jarrett Stidham, and you probably don't have a chance of moving up for one of the top guys in the draft, I guess you are open to trying anything.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I get the impression that while Coach Blackburn may be good with coverages, as a former LB maybe coaching kicking isn't his strong suit.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
You gotta think we don't have room for 11 rookies, especially that many 6th rounders. (Though with Snead his 6th round picks may be better than his 1st rounder) We're got a lot of draft equity to play with for this year or next. I'd expect some trading to happen.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Didn't Spagnulo try this with the Rams as well? Don't remember it meeting with much approval.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Would you jump in a pool?by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no idea when they might draft DL, but I'm almost positive they will double dip at the position. I don't think they are looking to replace AD. That's Turner and Desjuan. I do think they are still looking to replace Brockers/A'Shawn. .by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
The curious thing is they seem to defy standard convention in how a draft is conducted. They don't attend the combine. Rams scouts are very rarely mentioned when I look at articles recapping pro day workuts, occasionally being specifically noted as not being in attendance.. The web sites have only the barest info on who they've talked to. They haven't had a first round choice since the Obamby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. All played out their contracts and moved on. Ebu was, honestly, very average when he was here and was a late bloomer. We drafted SJD's replacement in Gaines. Like you said, Reynolds couldn't find playing time. At that point we were cap tight and weren't offering second contracts to anyone. Franklin-Myers is the only player I think we "gave up on" too soon.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
If an infinite amount of monkeys are placed before a keyboard and allowed to run a mock draft, odds are that one of them will actually get it 100% right!by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejoram Has rams tradintheir 19th and 52nd for Denver's 12th to pick Dallas Turner That would be bold, but it doesn't get us past Atlanta at #8, and a lot of predictions suggest they'll take Turner.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I wanted Taco the year he was drafted, but he's been on 7 NFL rosters and hasn't stuck, so I'm willing to go so far as to say he can't make it in the big leagues.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
He forgets Warren McClendon, our 5th round pick last year, who played in 6 games.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSoCalRAMatic I guess anything is possible, but I don't see a WR in the first round. Not unless we're looking for a starter, but I don't think we are yet.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
My camp arm, practice squad, FA dark horse.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
JY beat me to it. I agre that those 5 are the targets, but a CB is not out of the question given Williams age, Whites contract and whether Kentricks, Durant, Tomlinson are future startersby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I would think that Desjuan would fill the Fox roll.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Wouldn't that be a bit of irony having the sons of two legendary Niners on the Rams!by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
With the amount of money Edge rushers are getting on the open market, and the empahsis on the position, locking one down for 4 years is going to be tempting for a number of teams. I'm not informed enough to know what other teams needs are, but after the inevitable run on QB's and the occasional WR and OT, it's going to be open game from approximately picks 10-18, not to mention 20-32 making aby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
With all this talk about the need for Edge, I think the need for DL has been seriously overlooked. Our starting DL right now is Turner, Brown & Johnson with Murchison and Durden as backup. Turner looked great as a rookie, but we don't know how much of that was the AD effect. Desjuan is pretty much a rotational end. Brown is okay for a big NT, the others are JAG's. Next year we have oby 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
Thought that had less to do with the salary cap and more to do with Martz's deteriorated relationship with Kurt/Brenda coupled with not wanting to lose the younger Bulger.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think they are drafting one at all. They have Stafford, Grappollo and if they were moving on from Bennett they likely would have done so. Throw in Camp arm Wynn and we're set. Maybe add another camp arm as a FA. Drafting a QB means losing Bennett and that doesn't appear likely.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
100% think that's the exception. But given McVays awkward track record with young QB's on our roster I suspect that Snead would go the route of selecting and sitting a guy they intend to be their future starter. In a QB heavy draft year, I could see it happening. Mind you, not advocating for this to happen.by 3030 - RamsFootballFans.com
