I think that was 2008 when Incognito received two unsportsmanlike penalties in a row and turned Josh Brown's FG into a 49 yarder to eke out a 19-17 win in Maryland. The second win in a row under Jim Haslett to get to 2-4. Of course, they lost the next TEN games to go 2-14.... Goff ended up picking them apart earlier this year. He was 29/49/395 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT and the INT was a PERFECT pass Gerald Everett tipped to a SEA defender. He has thrown 5 INT's in five career games vs SEA however, so they do create turnovers. The SEA D is not that good. But they gotta somehow keep Wilson from completing 3rd and 38's for first downs and TD's or wiggling out of saby ramsfaninmd - RamsFootballFans.com
He got out of perhaps three sacks and threw the ridiculous TD pass in the corner of the end zone. But Goff had a hell of a comeback and I am still in disbelief Zuerlein missed the 44 yarder. I just do not see it. The defense would have to play out of its mind and be like plus 2 or 3 on turnovers. I hate to write that, but the Rams do not match up well....at least they are better on the road than at home...by ramsfaninmd - RamsFootballFans.com
If both the Rams and Vikings end with identical records the Rams get in on the third tie breaker which is winning percentage against common opponents. I read an article in The Athletic. The Rams would be 4-1, MIN 3-2 assuming they lose to SEA tonight and we beat SEA next Sunday night. So, if the Rams go 3-1 and end 10-6, they need MIN to lose tonight, then go 2-2. I think the pitch count idea might be mostly done and they plan on using him more in the last half of the season.... Agreed. They are not a good pass rushing team. But they have maybe the top CB's in the league with Humphery, Carr, Smith and now Peters. And Earl Thomas.... Yeah, I loathe Sean Payton, but he did run it more and rely less on Bridgewater who is good but no Drew Brees. He is a great coach. Bellicheck/McDaniels for years have been chameleons (use the TE's, run a ton some games, throw a ton some games) and John Harbaugh put his chips in the middle with Greg Roman running the offensive show and going from Joe Flacco to Lamar Jackson.
