....SF is having one of those great years, but they have some players coming up for contracts on the defensive line (Armstead, Buckner) and will see guys leave. They do not have great draft capital and the NFL (besides New England) is year to year.
It is up to McVay to continue to evolve as a play caller and be chameleon a la New England in winning with different methods, and the defense to continue to gel and be more important to their overall success. That, and hitting on 2nd through 5th round draft picks with no #1's in 2020 and 2021...
Also, the Rams should realistically be looking at the #6 seed and see if either GB or MIN falter. GB could be in trouble...
Nothing matters more than tonight's game. A loss is pretty much curtains for them....
