I'm not really sure what games you are watching, but the Rams have one of the better WR units top to bottom - in the league. And Antonio Brown? Just...why?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
WR is probably right down at the bottom of the list of what this team needs to progress. Here's the list - ILB, OLB, ILB, and OLB. That's pretty much it. Oh and ILB and OLBby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
This was the guy's MO at the end in Green Bay. A lot of people bought into the hype when he was hired about taking the Cowboys to the next level. Here was warning sign no 1 - he admitted he lied in the interview with Jerry - saying he had watched and studied all the Cowboys gamesby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that the position needed more attention - maybe a vet addition. Littleton was very good in pass defense but is not, and never was a run stuffer.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
We didn't bring it. The players looked flat. But still, in the end - we were one stop from a chance to maybe tie. It was a letdown for sure, but it happens. Ask the Packers. Or Patriots. Or chiefs 2 weeks ago. A lot of this board seems to be of the opinion that after last night - McVay and Staley have no idea what they're doing. Goff is a disaster. Kupp is terrible (really?) Chicagoby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He might have had a rough recovery after the Washington game. His injury normally takes 4-6 weeks to really heal. I'm not buying all the spin about game flow. He's hurt and they had him dress as an emergency back. The one play he was in for was supposed to be a throw into space so running between the tackles was probably a no go. Hopefully he fells well enough to play next week.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I seem to be in the minority on this one, but beyond the dropped balls, I saw missed blocks on the outside runs leading to no gain. Some of Goff's throws to no one seemed more like route confusion than Goff simply throwing the ball to ghosts. The interception was a receiver mistake. On defense, the scheme seemed alright, it was the coverage and tackling and effort that were lacking. The lasby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
They did run it - and scored, and there was an obvious hold and the ball moved back. Then on 3rd down, Kupp had 6 in his hands and just dropped it. So I wouldn't put that series on play calling.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't put that one on Goff. Should not have had both Woods and Reyonlds in the same space. Goff put it where it needed to be, I don't think the play was designed to have 4 dudes in the same small corner of the end zone.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure the Giants would go for it. I think they would take a draft pick with an eye to next year and would need a kicker who's already covid cleared and active to come in and play - so they might take Sloman.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Looks like he had a bad year last season. And he was really skaky with the Rams. maybe there's hope for Sloman. However, if you're thinking you're a super bowl contender, do you want to 'develop' a rookie kicker when push comes to shove in the playoffs?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe we should have tried to bring him back. He's stuck on the hapless Jets.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Really strange year for kickers. This is kind of what the NFL wanted when they moved back the PAT, but it seems to be hitting more this year than last.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The guy was good for a lot of turnovers, even in college and has done nothing in the pros. You could say he's playing for a terrible team, but couldnt you also say that about Fitzmagic? Or Kyler Murray last year?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
And you're right - all you need is an outbreak from a stadium or tailgate gathering and that could endanger the season. I want the season more than anything and the NHL had a great playoff series - that spanned 2 months with not a single positive test on teams or staffs.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The way the NBA, NHL, and Baseball playoffs worked / are working is one set of rules for all teams. If only some teams can have fans - which might be 25% now, but maybe 50% or more in November / December while some teams will still have none does not sound fair to me.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is a bad idea for the league to approve this. I think you'd see parade of teams moving to college stadiums in areas with less restrictions. And what about teams that have no option to move - like the Rams? They have to play the whole year at home with no fans and others get to play in front of fans. How is that an equal playing field? Especially come playoff time.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
If they put him on our active roster. I think we should do it. We need more linebacker depth this year and next.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Who is this guy? Seems like he's just reading stats off a sheet. Tough to compete with the all 22 breakdowns and things you can find on the web these days, Baldinger, etc.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
So far Kiser and Young have been pretty mediocre to bad. If Clay Johnston is healthy enough we could add him to the active roster too. At this point, why not try some other people in thereby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Troy Hill is not good there. He seems to be one of the worst performers in the secondary with a terrible pff grade. Wasn't slot something Long was mentioned for when drafted? Same with Burgess?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Will know when to look for it now.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I though that injury reports with game status came out thursday or friday and then again late Saturday - players were often upgraded or downgraded between the 2 reports. I can't for the life of me find a report that will tell me which of the Rams are currently - Out, Doubtful, Questionable, etc.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
As Berman used to say on NFL Primetime (haven't watched it in about a decade) - 'that's why they play the games'. On paper we should crush them, but there are unlucky bounces, bad penalties, bone-headed mistakes that can make things closer than they should be. I'm hoping for a decisive victory but look at Tampa last year for a game we should have won going away.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Zing!by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I was a bit skeptical of him, but the dude is really talented and the Ravens team will be in it in the playoffs this year. Does he have holes in his game? Yes, so does every QB in the league not named Rogers or Mahommes. He's pretty young and can fix some of the flaws over time. It's not the 90's or early 2000's where running QB's were a hit away from being ordinary. Coaches have figured outby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Both would help he defense out, it seems - but trying to get a straight answer out of anyone about why they're out and when they're going to be back is shrouded in mystery. Robinson has a heart issue? Maybe? Might be back after 6 weeks? Or not this season? Lewis doesn't have an infection, but has atrophy in the knee? Which part of the knee is atrophied? A quad muscle? He can come bacby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Ebukam is getting low grades against the run too. Need pass rush. Badlyby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Ebukam and Obo are 2 of the worst ranked OLB's in the league. Mixing in Polite and Patrick - can't do any worse than...the worst.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
