He's had 2 legit shots to be 'the man'. Granted 2 bad teams - but did he look like Hebert or Burrow - both guys went to bad teams.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The Raiders are not a good football team. They find ways to lose. I Ioved Thursday's game but we weren't playing the 49ers D. Or the Cowboys. Or any other winning program. We scored 17 points so...yay? It was gritty and we got it done in the most dramatic fashion but that was a team win too. Raiders were shut down in the second half. I think he's a great backup but he is not a franchisby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
That kind of explanation? It's not unusual for receivers to make big jumps in their second year. He also got hurt last year so he was probably behind schedule.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Dude is like the invisible man this year. He was never Kittle or Kelce but he used to get looks, make plays, etc. Now it's like a special occasion if he gets a few balls thrown his way. We're using him like a blocking tight end and from what I've read - he's not great at that. Maybe he's playing hurt, on his way out. I dunno?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
What a wasted opportunity to take his sage advice from week one. Sigh.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Because, for many weeks, and the playoffs it's the visitor's house. A little self awareness would go a long way with how they program the in game announcing. Why would you lead a cheer that points out a glaring deficit in home crowd attendance. Maybe a more appropriate chant to lead would be: 'Who enjoys visiting our house!'. And the crowd could shout 'We do!'by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Seriously - a post from another board, giving underhanded praise / criticism of Morris and a vague mention of coverage scheme that's probably not accurate. And...bring on the 25 post back and forth argument thread. Can't we have the 24 hour rule like the team - just be happy with the game and then get into all the criticism.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think Sean encouraged him to stay and this might be a face saving gesture for both of them since they're friends. For whatever reason he wasn't a good fit here. Say what you want about an OC here doing nothing - but it's can't be true. There's no way a head coach can spend every waking hour on designing the offense and gameplan. For further evidence - he has 2 former OC's who are sucby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
No one is going to trade for Robinson and eat his contract. We'd have to cover part of it. Lewis hasn't done much of anything in the NFL so who's going to give up draft capital for that? What's shocking is how far this article is from realityby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
It's the age old story - you start with a conclusion - 'the rams D is too soft', or 'it seems like they never get off the field on 3rd down', or 'morris doesn't make adjustments' or whatever. Then when facts and evidence is presented to the contrary you completely discount it or say it's not important or doesn't match up to what your 'eyes saw'. the team slowly deteriorated around Wilson. They also gave up first round pick for a safety who was hurt a lot. Try to avoid lunging at shiny objects.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
We can't ask the poster anything or respond. Kind of like dumping a flaming bag of poo on the doorstep and running. If Bonita guy wants to have a discussion they should post here.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He's played a bit here and there. When he's been healthy.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
When he was out?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
When was the last time we had one? And what's the hit rate on first rounders? And can one first round pick turn a franchise around overnight? Also, he could leave, but I don't think he walks away after this dumpster fire of a season. I think he's too much of a competitor. Good coaches are uber competitive and won't just 'walk away' from a mess.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com

After a score - to mock quieting the home crowd. Great read. Thank you.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
It would be great for the board - hundreds of threads complaining how we won't win it all with him. Sigh. Gotta keep looking forward. Not back.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
It's not out of the realm of possible that he winds up back here. Not sure how I'd feel about it either way. Now I'm glad he's not here. Next year? Who knows. And no, Tutu is not a replacement. Tutu, as Jordan detailed can run certain designed plays but is not an every down receiver. Odell is in an elite class...when he's healthy.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't think he'll wind up anywhere this year. He wants a multiyear deal without taking a physical. Sounds like the Cowboys weren't even sure he can play before January. He could be a free agent still in 2023. At that point, he would be a great addition, but can you trust him physically. How many 2021 players have been hurt this year? I even count OBJ since it was 2022 and the very last minutes of the season.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
they had their pick and could have chosen...poorly. Wentz no look so...ah...good. They needed a legit NFL qb and he was that and more. He can't drag you across the finish line like the some can - Stafford, etc, but if you put a good, balanced team around him he can take you far. Having a DT that can get double digit sacks is a luxury most teams don't have. We have no edge pressure. Floyd is either hurt or having a bad year and our best edge rusher is now on IR for Buffaloby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not saying that's the reason, but it's been a well publicized issue. There are dozens of articles from last year about it. But it also might have nothing to to with this - could be because he's just running Staley's scheme and he doesn't have a resume of designing a defense. But he has head coaching experience and his players seem to love him. I just don't think you can use - he didby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I will change my mind about him. A couple games does not a career make. He's young, we don't know what he's doing wrong and what he's doing right. He seems to have good burst on sweeps and decent hands. But you have to flash game in and game out over an entire season when you're worn down and beat up.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Talent always has and always will win out over a long enough time horizon. Can you be less talented and steal some games? Of course. Can you win multiple super bowls without a great quarterback. No. Is Sean Payton a great offensive mind? Yes. Andy Reid, yes. But maybe Drew Brees and Maholmes had / have a part to play. Just ask Shanahan - what's his record when he loses his startingby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
One criticism I will level is about how little the d-line is rotated. This might be due to a lack of talent, and I don't have the snap counts, but I didn't see Thomas or Hardy in much. Seems like Floyd plays nearly every snap. With mediocre rush talent, more rotation might leave them fresher at the end of games. But this is all just perception. Again, I'd like to see the snap counts.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
