He could fall down at will with the ball in his hands and defenses were powerless to stop it.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
They'd rather draft or sign people they want. Not leftovers. We'll see what's what come training camp. Interesting to see who gets first team reps between Jackson, Anchrum, Bruss, and Shelton. One of the new coaches must have liked Allen - otherwise he would have been cut. Who knows - may still be.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
No one has any idea how good or bad our O-line is because they didn't play together much last year. And one game against Buffalo does not a season make. We've had mid to solid, working O-lines every year since McVay's been here, except for last year. Why was that again? Also, he seems to imply that there's some kind of blue print for when and how you get a qb and build your roster. Yeah,by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
San Fran is a big question mark at QB. The Cardinals are a full rebuild - and with no QB to start the year. But yeah - we're going to be 31st in the league next yearby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
when someone like him with the measurables he has doesn't put up big numbers, especially in a lower tier program, I think it shows poorly. But I really no nothing about evaluating players.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
They also got Toby Wright, Troy Drayton and a receiver who was pretty good - Isaac Bruce.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The owner is a dolt and that franchise is a joke. Carson Wentz? Then Matt Ryan?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think boards are stacked like: can start now vs can start in 2024 or 2025. I mean isn't the point to get the best player you can with each and every pick to build out your roster for the near term and longer term? Aren't they looking for guys with the football iq, character, and ability to have productive nfl careers? How long it takes them to see the field is kind of up to the playeby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not understanding why this is such a crushing blow for us? How many players do the Texans have on their roster today? Is it important?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Why would a qb need to get jacked up? More muscle doesn't equal more velocity on passes. The last guy who seemed like a gym rat was Brady Quinn. We know how that went. I don't know anything about his college career. Maybe he's great. Or not.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
So they passed a rule so that guys can wear 0. Yes, that was a change they thought was needed. Reviewing roughing the passer - nope. I mean, when do they ever get that wrong. A 3rd QB active on game day- oh let's table that. It's kind of extreme, don't want to make any rash decisions. Seriously, they probably have to wrap everything up at 4:30 so they can make it to dinner.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Several times after going through the body scanner I've been pulled aside and searched. It was never overly aggressive and I always made sure we did it right there in front of everyone, but it's uncomfortable having a stranger run their hand up your inseam into your junk - and seems like the typical safety theater. I mean, what's the point of the scanner if they're just going to feel you up afby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay has never played starters in the preseason. McVay has been calling the plays every year. And for 5 years it worked out pretty good. So why single out his arrogance and preseason practice schedule for the reason 2022 was a failure?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what many are saying about the lack of offers for Lamar Jackson. They're not supposed to collude, but there may be some agreement not to replicate the Watson bombshell. I read that a lot of the owners were not happy with Haslam.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
And only he, Hurts, and Goff have been to a superbowl. Kyler Murray? Based on what?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
We were 29th in special teams with a great kicker, so, I'm ready to give someone else a shot. I think Tutu should have a shot again.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Curious about the details. They may just be moving dead cap to next year when they have more space to absorb it. Not sure what' in it as far as guarantees. Or was the restructure a pay cut in lieu of being released?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The guy has been hurt a lot over his short career. Was wondering if maybe he might retire this year. He played poorly when he was in last season. I think we have better on the roster right now.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I would bring up the 49'ers for comparison and what they went through when Jimmy G was lost for a couple of years. In 2018 he played three games and they went 4-12. In 2019 he played 16 games, they went 13-3 and lost in the superbowl In 2019 he only played 6 games and they went 6-10 In 2021 he played 15 games and they went 10-7 and lost in the conference championship. So...were they a baby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He had a few bright spots and showed well as a reserve receiver, but it's not like he was a gamebreaker. Totally replaceable. Someone who can return kicks and punts might be a better idea. I'll worry when the other team kicks to us on opening day and there's no one back there.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
San Fran is the only really strong team in our division. And who's their QB again? Seattle - not buying them as a consistent playoff team. Arizona has a new coach and are stuck with a very uneven QB. Again, who, besides the Eagles is dominant in the conference? We have Stafford and one of the best 2 or 3 recievers in the league. Plus one of the brightest offensive minds in the game as oby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
They're going to look in 2024? They are? You've discussed it with them? These fan sites have nothing to write about currently so they just endlessly speculate - I doubt any of the authors have credible information they just need to keep up a word count. this is the wacky time of year. Post draft there'll be some real info.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I am pretty certain they are going to everything they can to win with the resources they have. It will be pedal to the metal from here on out - do you think they'll install hammocks at Rams park for training camp? You think not giving 100 is in McVay's DNA?by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
The o-line wasn't terrible last year because there was no talent. It was terrible because they didn't play and there was no continuity with a bunch of guys off the street.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
All but Robinson were on the SB roster. If O-line is healthy and odds are it won't be as unhealthy as last years generational event, it's a solid group with competition at LT, both guards and center. Add draft picks and some late FA acquisitions. The roster is not finished - it's WIP. Lot will happen between now and opening day.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure why so many are convinced that we'll be terrible next year. I think playoffs are possible, and I expect we will compete for at least a wild card. Look around the nfc and what QB's scare you? And look at some of the teams that made the playoffs last year like the seahawks, bucs and vikings. Those rosters had a lot of holes - but all 3 had QB's with very good stat lines. It's still, hby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Having a lot of cap room usually means you have a very young team on first contracts or don't have anyone keeping around long term and signing to long contracts, or a cheap owner who doesn't like to spend up to the cap limit. Have teams turned early free agent 'wins' and splurges into playoff and super bowl wins? Not saying no one has, just wondering if there's any correlationby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Kind of the Andy Reid playbook. Not a bad model to followby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Imagine if they had a top flight QB - they'd be SB favorites for sure. Luckily Shanny can't acquire or develop a top flight passer. Next year it'll be a serving of never was - Darnold, never will be - Lance, and noodle armed Purdy who's likely to turn back into a pumpkin if he gets the reins.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
We can let you know at the end of the year if you're still interested. Probably see scores when you watch sportscenter or read the paper. Sorry to see you go.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
