I thought for sure that we had them pinned inside the ten with a backup QB. I was salivating. I should've known better. I just don't know what this is ... but it is not good football.by Schuylkill Ram - Game Time Forum
Division rivalry aside, this is just awful for both teams.by Schuylkill Ram - Game Time Forum

All of this has kept things rolling. I have also been pleasantly surprised to see that penalties are at a minimum.by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
No problem. I often smile at many of your posts; I especially love your optimism. I too have high hopes for this team this year.by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I just remember the Linehan years at Detroit and some of our OL rejects landing over there.by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
We also have to give the OL props in regard to the lack of holding penalties as well.by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I am an avid reader and a rare poster. I've seen lots of posts about the OL improvement and how Stafford elevates WR play, so maybe I missed this nuance in particular with the OL. It's a great time to be a Rams fan.by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Undoubtedly, the OL has progressed significantly from last year. We've celebrated Coach Carberry's leadership. We've all wondered and posited ideas pertaining to the unbelievable turn-around in OC Allen. We also have been amazed at OT Whit's ability to stay healthy and strong in his later years and play at such a high level. And the other OL players are just simply doing their jobs in the trencheby Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a similar event conflict this weekend. I always record the game. Avoid every sports radio and TV broadcast and when I arrive home, watch the game as if it is LIVE. Of course, I fast-forward through every commercial.by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Yeah, you're right about the placement ... that's what I meant :confused Also, I've noticed those passes have lotsa zip to 'em too!by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't know how many times I've watched QBs get hit while throwing that kind of pass. I can understand if they turn to throw a screen pass and the defender comes from behind or a bad angle. But there have been too many times I wonder how they could not see the defender bearing down on them. I suppose the action is fast and furious in front of them as well and having a helmet on your head doesn'tby Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford has excellent pocket awareness. This was so subtly demonstrated on the Woods touchdown. Most QBs would have eyed the target without much movement, but Stafford takes a half step forward to avoid an oncoming side rusher. It was so smooth, just in time and his eyes never left his target. He throws a strike to Woods at the last possible moment. It looked so natural that it gets mistakenby Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Does opening day move one week earlier? Or do they eliminate the extra week prior to the Super Bowl?by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay leads at halftime and keeps his streak intact. Rodgers slings the ball like mad in the second half with some success BUT gets greedy and the Rams secondary MAKES HIM PAY!!!by Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

On our first series inside the five, Wolford keeps the ball and runs right. To me it looks like an easy TD with his quick speed and agility to win the edge. Mysteriously, at the last second, he turns inside the last blocker and tries to run it inside. He is met at the one and his whole body swings sideways. I am not criticizing his decision or his performance. He must have seen something openby Schuylkill Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
