But overall he was terrible, and this past 2016 season really confirmed that!by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Boudreau was vastly overrated. His biggest fail IMO was pushing for Robinson #2 overall (Fisher and Snead are just as responsible of course) and was unable to develop him. Maybe Kromer can do what Boudreau was unable to do with Robinson. That would be HUGE!by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLMU93 Sorry. Once the Rams are awarded a 3rd round comp. pick for Jenkins then pick #69 remains with the Rams. Right now it's projected the Rams get comp. picks for Jenkins (3rd round), McLeod (4th) and Fairley (6th). So Rams picks in the top 4 rounds will be #s 37, 69 and (roughly) 110 and 141. And then a 5th, two 6ths and a 7th. I think the thing about them getting a 7th rounder frby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog QuotePaulButcher59 I laid the 3 with NE and when they were getting crushed at the half thinking my bet would go down, I took 2nd half NE -6 Even. QuoteRFIP Matt Ryan, man you should just retire. You @#$%& like everyone except me said you would. What an epic melt-down which would have even been worse if not for the ridiculous catch by JJ on a ball that should NEVER have been thrown. Welp, much like Carolina, say good by to Atlanta. QuoteLesBaker And neither is the respect of the players. That's on the HC not the GM. His eye for talent, ability to manage people, and delegate well, and develop a scout team are what will matter. QuoteCraigMatson I've seen him mocked in that area also. I'm sure decision makers in NFL war rooms won't him slide to us at 37 so is he worth moving up to say 33 if he is absent. 1St day? Any ideas or knowledge on his 40ty time or vert jump? Runs in the 4.5`s and maybe a 36"-38" vertical. His broad jump should be impressive as well. QuoteBigGame81 Will crush the combine. If he makes it to 20 I'll be shocked. And still many have him out of their top 32. TE OJ Howard should go before him. I`m guessing he goes at the end of round 1, but stranger things have happened.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com

I know the Rams have a crap load of needs and many would disagree with taking him, but If this dude somehow drops to the Rams slot at #37, I would jump all over him. As far as the TE`s go in this draft, many only have TE OJ Howard going in round 1. Would hate to see SF land Njoku at #34.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jordan Reed type TE that played mostly WR for 3 years at UCLA (led UCLA with 10 receiving TD`s in 2015) and coached by Yarber. Was a Rams day 3 target of mine. Duarte was drafted in round 7 by Miami, was cut, then signed to the practice squad and then added to the active roster in November. Hoping he gets released and the Rams can pick him up. Could be a real nice fit on a small investment.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield The team that protects it's qb the best will win. It's all very simple. Always has been. I agree. Brady gets the ball out so quick that Beasley and crew will need a big game getting in his face like Denver did last year. And even then, the Pats came close at the end. QuoteRockRam Gurley was a thud last year, no doubt. The question is this: for a guy with that much unquestionable talent, can McVay motivate him to become what he could certainly be? I never liked the pick, not because I didn't like Gurley but I felt it was much too much to pay for ANY RB. But considering the HC, OC staff, Oline, and Fisher turning Gurley into a pampered rock star, thereby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
A decent year or two mixed into the last dozen shows no consistency or continuity what so ever. Show me a solid GROUP that has performed consistently?
