Is there a legal issue with the NFL keeping the Rams from making the horns thicker or is Demoff just too thick headed to change them? Why not let the fans vote on them???by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach not a top notch receiver. Never will be a #1... He's a #2...at best. He has never had over 700 yards in a season...sound familiar? 12 career TD's. Twelve. We rip Austin and he has 23 in a multi purpose role. I view this as a Britt replacement...nothing more. But...we over paid... If you stay on this board, you'll find the signing promising. However, outside this boby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
HJQuote9er8er I laid out a case that qualifies as more than mere "speculation" and it certainly has nothing to do with the fact that the Rams signed him. I didn't endorsed many of the failed acquisitions that occurred under Fisher nor did I endorse the hiring of Fisher in the first place. Same team, but I didn't reflexively base my opinion on what they were doing because of that. Inby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote9er8er The bottom line is "results" alone are both expensive and backward facing and out of the Rams range for a young proven star, #1 type WR because the previous, and partly current, brain trust has so badly squandered resources and put McVay in this position. Now they have to actually earn their money, do the hard analysis and find the hidden gems that they can make shine inby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote9er8er The thing about Woods is he is a system dependent WR to a large extent. He's not going to shine in a sandlot game and that's pretty much what the Bills passing game has been for his time there. He's the WR that's going to be where he's supposed to be at the time he's supposed to be there, so he's going to thrive in a more structured, timing based scheme with a QB that plays that wby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 This one by Merlin just nails it, imo Here's Merlin... Oh it was about scheme too. Britt was a complete non-fit. McVay wants exact route depth and breaks and a guy like Britt simply is not capable of doing that. And yes, he's a damn child too I'm sure, judging from what I've seen admittedly from outside the locker room. Tavon will be on the way out too if he doesn't get exactby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 It's clear that the Rams intend to take advantage of this TE draft class bumper crop. Maybe as early as that #37. The Kendricks release made that abundantly clear. Seems like a smart strategy to me. I doubt that they will draft 2, however. At least not high for a second TE. Way too many other needs. Besides, I think they like Higbee. Quoteferragamo79 Think its gonna take 2 years to restock the roster and let Goff develop They have cut a lot of dead wood and now have to rebuild with their new philosophies. They are also minus a 1st round pick this year and their cap is limited. Goff will take at least two more seasons IMO. It will also be important to get him a new LT in 2 years to replace Whitworth. Quoteferragamo79 desperately...... Or take one at #37 (Engram?, Everett?) I`ve been leading the Rams to draft TE David Njoku bandwagon. He more than likely doesn`t make it to #37, but could potentially fall to the 30`s. If that's the case and McVay and Snead love him, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they found a way to move up a little for him. QuoteFlipper336 Massive for the position. Tested well at the combine which equals what I saw. Not a deep speed guy (4.79 forty) but good burst out of his breaks. Uses his entire catch radius. Willing blocker who just needs technique work. At a big school he's in the 1st round discussion. George Kittle MAY have moved himself into the third also. Iowa TEs are tough. QuoteramBRO Just reported by ESPN-LA (Per RapSheet). Great news! Wanted the Rams to draft him on day 3 back in 2014... He has the intangibles, lets see what this coaching staff can get out of him. Whitworth, Woods, and Murray. Nothing fancy but I`m a fan of all the FA moves so far.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedroopy You left us with the worst offensive line, worst secondary and worst receiving group in the NFL which is unbelievable considering all the draft picks Washington gave us. Also you let Janoris Jenkins (who played at a pro bowl level this season) leave. And not securing our best defensive back, Tru Johnson, and wide receiver, Kenny Britt, causes the Rams to either franchise or cut them.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
I actually thought I would like the blue & white combo, but there is something missing and I`m not a fan of it. The gold only makes it worse. If you have to have that 3rd color, bring back the old canary yellow instead of the gold. Why pay him like that in the first place? Cannot blame Austin for believing in what the Rams front office believed in when he received the contract. I cannot blame or judge him if he refuses to take a pay cut. That said, he certainly isn't worth what the Rams are paying him. At least IMO.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
