Quotesstrams At least from what I remember..Agreed. Goff hasn't looked comfortable for a while and it's hard to understand. Other than him zeroing in on Kupp too much.by moklerman - Game Time Forum
Okay, you can't hold it all day, stare down your receiver and then throw it late. Goff has money on the Bears tonight. Please bench him before it's too late. The D will likely give up after that red zone pick though.by moklerman - Game Time Forum
QuoteDeadhead Ram I hate himRams would be much better off with someone just taking a knee. Cooper has no sense in his head and no moves to back up his stupid decisions to bring kicks out.by moklerman - Game Time Forum
QuoteClassicalwit Forgot what a defensive game looks like didn't you?The problem is, the Bears aren't playing great defense, the Rams are playing lousy offense. Pretty disappointing to see this team give up after winning the division. Mental softness.by moklerman - Game Time Forum
QuoteRamUK Yes and put Wade in at linebacker whilst you're at itGoff's little hands just aren't good in cold weather. How many wobblers, sacks and interceptions before he gets the night off?by moklerman - Game Time Forum
Goff obviously doesn't want to be out there, get Mannion some reps.by moklerman - Game Time Forum
QuoteLMU93 Bartkowski at least had a legit resume'. Brock was a bizarre signing.Unfortunately, Brock had back problems by the time he got to the Rams so he was never really playing healthy. But he was putting up big numbers in the CFL and was a gunslinger. The NFL was dabbling with raiding the CFL for talent at that time though so Brock wasn't too much of a mystery signing. It was a totally diby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator Bert Jones arm was SHOT a year or two before he joined the Rams.I thought it was his knees? Can't throw without your legs, no matter how strong your arm is.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
69.1% with a 7.8 ypa. Seems pretty accurate this year.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
You look at that and there's got to be something wrong with how they're approaching things or the types of players they target/cultivate.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 I was SO crushed (age 9-10) when they let him go to the CFL in 1981... Elated when he returned for 1982 and 1983.Which further emphasizes the Rams cheapness under Georgia. There wasn't any good reason to let both Ferragamo and Dickerson get disgruntled to the point of leaving. I don't think either of them wanted to leave and would have stayed if given reasonable offers. Didn't Haby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
The sustainability of smash-mouth football at the NFL level may be debatable but as an approach, I think it's still viable. I mean, Jacksonville themselves were in the AFC Championship just last year and scored 417 points. Why their defense went from giving up 16.8 ppg to 21.0 ppg has a lot to do with their decline this year. I think Marrone was smart to ride Fournette and that offense was cliby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams historically getting to Championship games and then struggling to score means the defense needs to get better? I don't get it. Other teams don't struggle to score so to me, that means the Rams need to get better at scoring. Which they have with McVay. Especially in today's game, you better be able to outscore your opponent. Historically, I'd say the same applies. The Rams had preby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteshellback A lot of his money is guaranteed 30 mil of 48Yeah, they'll probably keep him through next year at least but after that? It seems like his name is rarely called and he's getting #1 WR money on a team that has a clearly better WR. When does Hill's rookie deal expire? I think that will be the end of Watkins with the Chiefs as that money will go to Hill.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSteve With ever passing week it gets to be funnier. Hope Sammy doesn't do any super bowl heroics....I wonder how long Watkins will get paid like he does being the #3 or so option in that receiving corps? Isn't that a big reason why the Rams moved on? Too much money for someone not the primary option?by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- QuoteSpeed_Kills Talk about over thinking something I think he meant well, just probably thought there was less time left and the Lions didn't have any time outs.... I just watched the whole sequence again....you can see McVay's reaction was like "wtf" as his eyes were wide open as he's covering him mouth with his play sheet talking on the headset. I'm not disappointed at all. These are the sleeper games that teams lose. Rams weren't perfect but they won a road game by double digits and the did it by relying on their two best players. How quickly people can become spoiled. Nitpicking a 30-16 win en route to 11-1 and the best record in the NFL.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotezn QuoteSpeed_Kills McVay's pretty danged smart but I don't know that anyone is saying he told Gurley to do it. I think these two games where he's done it, he's done it on his own. The first time we know for certain that came from M cVay. He talked about how he told Goff to remind the team, don't score. So far today there is no direct quotation but yes absolutely McVay has done that beby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills To get strip sacked again Throw an int Or to punt I thought it was ridiculousDetroit isn't an offensive juggernaut by any means but they did score 3(4?) times in the second half of this game and at the end, Donald was gassed on that last 2 minute drive. QuoteRams43 Quotewaterfield The Rams felt confident they could score with a first down on the one. But they needed to take time off to lesson the time for the Lions for a comeback.as difficult as that would be for the Lions. They got both-a winning score and taking time off. QuoteSpeed_Kills Rodgers was passed on by 23 teams right? He was hardly thought of as some slam dunk. He develops into one the games best so Martz gets credit for the QBs he works with but McCarthy no dice?I don't know what he deserves in terms of Rodgers. He didn't draft Rodgers. Quotejemach knows the 2 TD win wasn't a 2 TD win in the sense of competitiveness. Aaron Donald single-handedly changed the game. Without that strip sack, it was a good chance we lose. With it, the Rams can relax with just a few minutes left in the game.I don't know. The final score seems at least as objective as "it seemed closer than it was". QuoteSaguaro and how some people evaluate this team. They want to win the SB so bad, and they've kind of emotionally banked it already, so that anything less than a dominant performance by the Rams makes them feel insecure about it. Then they get cranky and almost angry at the team for "letting them down".I agree that expectations are coloring people's perception and as frustrated atby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
