the person on your left that passed you the pipe just said the Eagles were going to win the super bowl with N. Foles at QB....and Foles was going to be SB MVP.....by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Your subject line and what Smith says doesn't match....says the overrated tag is not an "indictment on him but and indictment against ya'll (the media)" Plus this was after two games not seven....where the results were the same. What would your opinion of Goff had been if he went undefeated in his first seven starts as opposed to 0-7? Would you have attached the same term to him?by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
The franchise tag for a QB is approximately $23.5 million.....two back to back franchise tags = $51.8 million Maybe this is why....by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
There's a whole years worth plus one PO game of film on Goff for DCs to study. Will be hard for him to replicate this past year.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh yeah....I remember that....you tried to spin it like I said Garoppolo was in the same category as those QBs I mentioned....which was not my point as the conversation was / is film. I remember too that this was a deflection on your behalf as you never discussed how the amount of film now on Goff will affect his play.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRAMbler ....once defenses get more game film. :ninersblowup I knew it was just a matter of time.....now queue the "the games he played in were meaningless" and "the defenses he played against were terrible" comments....by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Its the Patriots....in Foxboro....in the AFC championship game....by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Lots of information / explanations as to why / how he ended up in SF....some of which has been discussed here....by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Queue the "wait for next year when coaches have film on Garoppolo" and "the games he played in were meaningless"by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
If he gets the tag what's it going to cost?by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff also had 15 more attempts than Ryan....by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay didn't want his "starters" losing to the hapless Niners the week before this game and riding a two game losing streak heading in to first round of POs. Take the loss to the Niners, tell everyone it was to rest starters as an excuse, and hopefully ride that "logic" into a win vs. the Falcons.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Was he on the field? If you are a DC in the NFL....who you more concerned about? Goff or MVP candidate Gurley? I mean....he is in the running for MVP for a reason, right?by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Ok...for me this is the NFL....not the Abilene 2A high school district...by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Exactly Grits....the same Carr / Garoppolo comparison can be used for Goff, correct? Those who want to discredit JG's accomplishment of turning chicken poop into chicken salad after only 5 games are the same as those who want to anoint Goff as the next Brady after the 16 this year. I don't think my comments on Goff reaping the benefits of having Gurley in the backfield are disrespectful.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Five games for JG... SIXTEEN for Goff for DCs to study.....works both ways. Several here can't seem to understand that.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
One of which his WR slipped coming out of the route. Of course Goff never throws INTs and if he does they are picked to top flight CBs... We talkin' performance on the field or status of their particular franchises? Talk about the state of their respective teams.....JG landed on one of the WORST rosters in the NFL and STILL won.....and .....dysfunctional??? You want to talk about dysfunctionby TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Gurley makes the train run....not Goff. Take Gurley out of the offense and see what happens.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
You pick the QB for your team.....Kaepernick or Garoppolo.....who you got?by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Nowhere in my post did I compare JG with those QBs. The issue was tape available to break down the player. TONS of tape on those dudes.....yet they play at a high level every year. But nice try..... And oh.....didn't see your answer about Goff and his amount of film available next year. Maybe after you sleep on it we can revisit this topic of film. Good night!by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Not the issue.....or topic of this thread. It is a debate on a ranking of QBs.by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice try.....nice deflection....take a look at your tape comment....TONS of tape on these dudes. What's the result?by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Yup....because all that tape helps to shut down Brady, Big Ben, and Rodgers. Don't forget there will be a years worth on Goff too. Guess his fairy tale season will come tumblin' down!by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Question.....were those games "meaningless" to the opponents too? Meaningless to the Titans / Jags as they were jockeying for playoff positioning? How did Mannion fare in a "meaningless" game? Last year Goff played / started in 7 games and lost every one of them. His stats pale in comparison to Garoppolo's in a similar "sample size". There were many here andby TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
We get it.....you don't like the hype surrounding Jimmy G and the five games in which he started meant NOTHING ....even though two of those games were against two AFC playoff teams that were playing for PO positioning / a PO spot. THEY were playing for something and they lost to Jimmy G's Niners. The young man can play and the Rams will now have to face him twice a year. Take a look at the stby TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
LMAO....I can assure you there are MANY teams that would LOVE to have him and all his "limitations".......one being not having Todd Gurley in the backfield....ponder that for a momentby TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
Some of you are forgetting that the Niners' roster is subpar as it is and couple that with the injuries they have had equates to 2nd and 3rd stringers playing as well. There are also 3-4 rookies that start on defense, two on offense, an UDFA that shares the load in the backfield, and a QB that has only started 7 games TOTAL in a system he has truly yet to learn due to his late arrival. So yes,by TheGuru - RamsFootballFans.com
