Time to flip on the Seattle game and see if the cards can take care of business.by ArizonaRamFan - Game Time Forum
I'm always ready to watch Rams football, even fairly meaningless football. I love how "above the fray" McVay is and I don't disagree with his decision, but arg... doesn't he understand these are the hated niners? >.<by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Darnold is a sure thing, isn't he?by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Despite technically losing this game based on a final score no one will care about (say 23-16), the Rams demonstrate they have competent depth, and Mannion gets a chance to shine on the NFL stage. Niner fans expostulate on how they won the super bowl, and we hear about it endlessly this offseason. Which starts TOMORROW for you whiner fans.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
with these injuries in the secondary, having Gaines back would be nice to shore up the CB position. Even so, I voted positive on the trade.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess McVay did have a tough decision to make this season about whether to play Goff or Mannion. He made the right choice and benched the right QB :lol1by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
It's valid because the great QBs, like those you mentioned, can overcome years of film on them. It's either because they don't have tendencies, they can alter those tendencies to avoid being exploited by a crafty D. But it's minor because generally a good QB is going to... just... play good QB-- identify receivers, sidestep the rush, throw accurate safe passes, etc. And you don't need "taby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Stan is "getting it done" in that way. Not sure what else to praise him for, other than as you mentioned, being willing to open up his ample wallet to pay for coaching talent. (Which will make him many billions over the coming decades). He's not an impediment to any future Rams dominance, which is the best thing one can say about an owner.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
After all, what if ownership has a stroke and brings back Fisher n co? :lol I'm sure that'd be all Goff's fault too ;)by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
We are extremely unlikely to land a reliable kicker at this stage of the game. We need someone better than Ficken, I agree, but... what if he's not there? This is a tough choice, and I just gotta look at McV and Bones and say "Good luck." I am NOT going to be angry to see Ficken take the field next week or even in the playoffs, because I understand that if there were a better option, heby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams are a bad team, the preseason improvement is a mirage, and so they can be brainlessly bashed with impunity by the class clowns.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com

He had little vision, and played a bit like he'd given up: just tuck his head and run into the pile for a 2y loss, when maybe he could have bounced it outside (as he did to deadly effect yesterday). I'm perfectly fine knocking the coaching and line for it, but his loss of productivity was also on him. It's true he had a bad line, but he did well DESPITE running behind a below average line on hisby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com

I, as a fan, am eminently satisfied with that :thumbsup But if the criticism is that Goff's off days are not quite MVP-worthy and merely excellent, well... I guess I can't have everything!by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Now to be fair, the Rams gave good reason for over a decade to doubt, so I get that skepticism should flow like cheap wine regarding the Ram's 14th attempt at the NFC West after the drought. However, it would have been a much safer tactic overall for the author to consider these big changes, especially in coaching, to be "unpredictable and risky" rather than "predictably bad and inby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
And a happy new year when the Rams roll over the Niners to put on exclamation point on their season... and tamp down this JimGar talk before it gets TOO out of hand = )by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean I guess "winning ugly" is a thing, but I prefer the Rams' "win ugly" week to the Seaflags'. I mean really, 21 points after 136y of offense? More penalty yards than O yards??? That team is hot garbage and they still have a chance to squeak into the playoffs. This is why I want my Rams to have a crack at them as their first playoff game in 13 years.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Surprised they were able to beat Dallas, but they ARE still a good team even missing like 5 pro-bowlers on D. A wounded animal is dangerous, but the discipline I saw vs Mariota yesterday tells me the Rams are ready even if Russell goes off again (finally). It won't be the curb stomp we got last week, but the Rams aren't the wild-stallion team they were earlier this year, with lots of talent but uby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Wouldn't it be sweet to poach Earl Thomas from the squawks! But sounds like there's a place here rather be than LA, and it ain't Seattle!by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Gurley is heating up white hot down the stretch, while Brady is starting to cool off. I know they're supposed to take the whole season into account, but it would help to end the season with an exclamation point, rather than a whimper.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Not every team or player or personality can be turned into a rags-to-riches story, and most of the time, the non-stop claims that "nobody believed in us, but us" need to be tuned out. Yet the Los Angeles Rams fit the criteria awfully well. They were certifiably raggedy in 2016. As 2017 draws to a close, the riches are piling up. Division title — done, thanks to their grittby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Only one more game til the playoffs, we need a semi-reliable kicker.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
It'll work for a few games, and if he's truly spectacular they can get away with it for a year (and they did), but eventually.... nobody can carry that FOREVER you know?by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
And then shoot, he fixes that. Dilly Dilly!by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Glad to see him notch another signature comeback win. To be fair, some fans have raised valid questions through this season regarding his "clutch", or accuracy, or ability to avoid being flustered after a bad play. But in that same spirit of fairness: Goff has been answering those questions in the affirmative.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
