The tackle on Pollard's injury was similar to Cooper Kupp's injury against the Niners. The tackler graphs the receiver and whips his legs around the front on the receiver putting too much pressure on the lower leg/ankle area. As soon as I saw it I told my nephew I've seen the Niners hurt others with that tackling technique. McVay and Snead traded away first round picks and invested in a handful of superstars forcing the team to use a patchwork of young players on the offensive line and defensive backs other than a Havs and Ramsey. This put them in a position where solid coaches are needed to develop the young players. Rams should restructure his contract before giving that much money to a player who has 1 foot out of the door. Make him agree to conditioning clauses maybe can stay healthy. Over 62 million for a player who can walk after one season is a bad gamble when he has a damaged throwing arm.
