the one lengthwise from Kupp's feet to the ball? If so, I didn't think that was conclusive. I swear my memory is getting horrible... but it seems I saw one from the side, (maybe the one you're referring too), that did show the knee down and the ball short..... BUT... as I posted previously, ALL the other shots of it to me were either either non-conclusive OR seemed to show it AS as TD.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I applaud you sir... for the best observation of 2019 so far... and maybe for the last several years. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
had nothing better to do so I called up the Coliseum on Google Earth and measured the dimensions... then did the same for Levi Stadium Coliseum width from top seat across to top seat 794' From top seat to the field, either side, 315'. Levi Stadium width from top seat across to top seat 628'. From top seat to the field, either side, 250'.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
what I recall was that every replay I saw looked like it confirmed he was in for the TD.... except one, which I only saw once and seemed to prove he wasn't. Agreed it's a darn shame... but also think that play was so fantastic that in the end we're all going to remember it as well as if it had been a TD.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Sometime one players fault, sometime another, sometime coaching, sometime all the above. They just never seem to get it all together even though, IMO, they have the talent to do so, including coaching. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
as mostly a 'mental' challenge rather than a talent one.... with the exception of Brady, of course. But most of the 'big match ups' the Pats have faced over these years, (not all), have IMHO been won by the Pats due to great strategy and cohesiveness rather than just 'talent'... which they DO have, not saying they don't. My point being... I think the Ram's are every bit as talented acrossby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
no shortage of 'respected' WR's for the receiving skills that if not in possession of the football instantly go into " not my problem mode".by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Hate saying the Cowboys because as many of us have noted it's only two games and they haven't faced very tough competition yet... however, they seem good to me. Yeah, agree that without Brees the Saints have a big hill to climb.. but say he is back in 6 weeks.... I can see them getting it together and being a real threat. I hate even MORE mentioning the Seahawks... but as with GB they haveby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it even possible for a crowd at the Coliseum to cause trouble on the field? I ask because... The Coliseum is not built like most other stadiums... to my knowledge. And not only the 'openness' of it but also the seats rise gradually so that at the top of the coliseum you are a LONG way from the field.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
thanks LBRams... and while I'm at it... I'm not always the best at replying with appreciation for these posts.. .so if I missed telling one of you thanks then my apologies. You can be sure I read them all and enjoy the heck out of them. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Yup, until my shoulder went out... from the 70's until the 2000's, he and I and some other friends in this area played golf every Wednesday... seldom missing day. Good memories... and now our golf course is gone. I haven't played since they torn it out.... not even a scrambles tournament, but I've been thinking about it.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but I doubt it... I think he has a very specific plan for RZ plays and it's just not working.....very well anyway. Question is: Does he change up... or does he stay the course believing the simply aren't executing yet and will eventually? I don't know.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
and I think it more likely than not that the O is currently just out of sync, call it rusty.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Wait, we now know why the sky is blue don't we? Well... we certainly don't know why we didn't run in your scenario... the sky we have figured out... Ram's in the RZ play calling remains mysterious.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
ever notice that it never applies, (if it does it's rare as hen's teeth), to 'pushing the pile'? I've seen blockers come from yds back and blatantly slam into a defenders back to 'push the pile' and I cannot ever remember a flag in that circumstance.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Remember Bill Munson? Backup QB for the Rams for a few years in the mid to late 60's. He wasn't very good... but I remember, ah youth, loving the guy and believing him completely. I had the utmost respect for Johnny U... but remember the '68 season, '69 SB? Earl Morrall took them to the SB only to be replaced by Johnny U in the SB, (playoffs to maybe? can't remember when he came back in)..by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
those slow developing runs in the 1st half that pretty much went for naught suddenly worked in the 2nd half... they didn't stop running those plays, they stayed with them. Left me scratching my head and I'm still scratching my head today. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
or rather... Ron Weasley.... when Hermione scolded him from not noticing the 3 headed dog was standing on a trap door he replied something like "Sorry, I was a little busy watching his 3 heads". What the living hell am I getting at, you might ask? I was so into the game... and wondering if Goff could snap out of it.... the last thing I paid attention to was Demby. Backups can and should be better prepared. Absolutely agree that there are not 64 quality starting caliber QB's in the league.... that doesn't mean to me, however, that the less than starting caliber QB's can't be much more prepared.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
And I'm not ready to put this corp in their league BUT... if not 'there' they are certainly doing their best to GET there... we have some great route runners... which leads me to: Total mystery to me why in that first half Goff seemed to take so long.... someone in the game forum said he has to have everything running 'perfectly' or he won't make the pass.... I don't know if that's true but itby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think it was even mentioned? I didn't think, however, it was a 'sure' penalty... just close. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
with the same diatribe I've been having since the web was invented... approximately the same date, ironically, that the 'all your eggs in one basket QB approach' began. I think it's going to grow more and more incumbent on the NFL to loosen up a little on the current training/roster rules to allow for adequate preparation of backup QB's. Of course, that alone won't do it. Because coacheby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
although I'm not 100% this is true.... but I highly suspect it. Anyone else noticing that when your cursor hovers over some ads the 'scroll' function gets shut off? I can't say this is 100% intentional but I've noticed lately that scrolling down on a webpage with my trackpad if I stop over an ad with the cursor then try to scroll again I cannot... not until I move the cursor OFF the ad.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
this is just general perception. Seems to me most good RZ teams, the OC's, run plays in the RZ that are smooth transitions from all the rest of the plays... with obvious adaptions due to the more limited amount of turf area in the RZ... in other words... it's basically the same game plan squeezed into a smaller area. but like you I can't remember who said it... maybe the same place you heard it, maybe not. But even with my penchant for 'overestimating' the Niners I think predicting an NFC West Championship is a stretch. again, hate seeing any player go down with injuries.... seems especially poignant with Brees at this time.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
in regards to players who have a huge impact on a game even if the 'flashy stats' aren't present. Remember last week and the posts here about Donald being 'triple teamed"? Sure you do. :laughing But my point is I had a Niner fan friend mention that to me without me saying a word about it.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
